I had a great experience at Deluxe Tattoo on Irving Park Rd just east of Ashland. I covered an old tat, got a new one, and a friend had a great retouching of a faded tat - very happy with all the work. They have a big staff of artists - all listed on the site with sample photos - Harlan did my work. (I got mine done about 10 years ago but Ben Wahhh and Harlan are still there, so that says something.)

I got my tattoo's done at Old Town Tattoo. It's located at 3313 W. Irving Park Chicago, Il 60618. The person who did my tatto her name is Dana @773/442-8288. She is very good, I just got Phoenix tattoo on my back that represents my son and daughter.

Tell her what u are looking for and she will match it. She has great ideas as well. I've been very happy w/her work I had gone back to get another one done on my wrist.

Jade Dragon has always been the best around, it is in downtown Chicago although I imagine it will be pretty pricey.

I recommend a place on the north side on Western Ave. called Revolution Tattoo. Ask for Omarr, he is the owner. I don't have any tattoos personally but my friend is a personal friend of his and I have seen his work and it is beautiful.

We have always gone to Downers Grove tattoo on Ogden, between Main and Fairview. Jeremy does excellent work and his Dad does too. I know they have been in business over 18 years, because thats when i first went there.
