Hello all! I just moved here from out of town and have already started my way out to look at different pre-schools and it is just getting overwhelming. I checked out mamasource's review area and didn't find many listings.

Its scarey to be in a new town to begin with ,let alone at a point when you have to send your little one off into the trusted hands of someone else. I'm a working mom but have had the fortunate ability to stay at home with her since she was a baby...by setting up a home office. Back home it was easy because I knew where she would've been going to school - I had a history there and knew lots of people. If anyone has good/bad experiences they can share with me it would be very helpful.

I've been looking in the hilliard/SW Dublin area at catholic/christian or public preschools. Some that I've seen were: Hilliard United Methodist Preschool, Cypress Christian PreSchool-Daycare, and St Bridget of Kildare. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I don't know about Hilliard United Meth. but I do know people who go to both Cypress and St. Bridgids and they are both excellent schools. I can also recommend Northwest Presbyterian Christian Academy.
Good luck!

Hi L.,

Welcome to Columbus. I'm sure you'll find it a great place to raise a family.

I wanted to suggest to you Our Lady of Bethlehem. They are a Catholic school that offers pre-school, pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st thru 3rd. We have sent three of our four kids there and it is wonderful. It is located at the corner of Henderson and Olentangy River road - it sits up on the hill on the west side of Olentangy, just North of Henderson. It used to be an old convent that was converted in to the school. It serves a lot of families in Dublin, Hilliard, Worthington, Powell and Columbus. I actually think they might be having open houses this week with registration. Give them a call and check it out. I really think you'll be pleased.

If you want to call me, send me a message.

Good luck,
K.

Hi I don't have any kids in school yet but my neighbor goes to Cypress for church. She has a neice and nephew that attends school there. They both love it and They are 10 and 8yrs. I'm planning on sending my daughter there. My step-son goes to Children's World on Cemetery Rd. He loves it and it going real well so far. He is in Kindergartin also and they are keeping up with the school in learning. Good luck

I will just say, that I went to Hilliard United Methodist Preschool and I'm 29, as did my older sister, 2 younger brothers, 2 younger cousins and my nephew. I would not be afraid to enroll my child there. They are wonderful! I actually have a co-worker whose children, ages 14 and 11, both went there too and loved it!

Hello & Welcome!! I moved into the Hilliard/Dublin area a year ago. I have a soon to be 3 year old daughter & one on the way. At first our daughter attended Goddard but we had too many bad experiences there. Enchanted Care on Davidson Rd. came highly recommended so we switched & it was the best decision we could have made. It was & still is hard for me to be a working mom & not be able to spend all the time I can with my daughter so I know how you feel. However she loves to go, she's so happy when she's there & she learns a lot. The staff adores each & every child & they seem to love their job. The # is ###-###-####. Best of luck to you & your family!

I currently take my 5 year daughter to St. Stephen the Martyr on Clime Road on the westside of Columbus and I love it there.
