Need a Good Bakery to Decorate a Birthday Cake - Help!

My neighbor made my son's cake for his 2nd birthday. It was a large sheet cake with Mater and Lightening McQueen on top of it (i will send you a pic if you'd like) It was amazing! And delicious!!

Creative Memories (The cake place) ###-###-#### or ###-###-#### is in the HEB area and are an excellent choice with a huge variety. Also there is Just Desserts by Marcie in Irving at ###-###-####. These are my first choices in cakes. They are both delicious and have creative choices. Or you can bring in a design (napkin, pic, etc) that they will create for you. It will just depend on when you need the cake.

My absolute favorite is Delicious Delights Bakery. She makes the best cakes and has always been willing to accomodate my needs.And she's not anymore expense than any of the grocery or big box atores. Euless Main just north of MidCities.

opulent cakes go to the website and check out her work. She is on colleyville Blvd. I used her for a baby shower cake, it cost about 40.00 for a cake to feed 30 people. ( did I mention it wasnt just beautiful and original it was delicious too!)

What about ordering a basic sheet cake with blue frosting and then getting a plastic Shamu to go on top (or maybe even a bunch of killer whales or other marine animals, like dolphins)? That way, your son (and his friends, if you want) can have plastic toys to take home as a party favor.

My mother in law does AWSOME cakes, for my daughters 2nd birthday cake she made a whole castle for the princess theme and this past weekend was the 3rd birthday party where she mad a while "swimming pool" cake including beach balls, floats and ladders.
