Concord Teacakes in West Concord - their cakes taste great but also are very pretty. I have used them over the years for several birthdays & baptisms. They will either do "generic" designs - or for an extra fee duplicate a napkin, invitation, etc.

Hi,

I actually ordered a cake from Harvest Bakery in Bristol, CT for my son's 1st and 2nd birthday. His 2nd birthday cake was a construction theme..the cake came out incredible...so much detail...roads, construction workers, construction signs! We received sooo many compliments. I have been very happy with their food and cakes!

I love Mozzicato's in Hartford, it's an authentic Italian bakery. The sponge cake with strawberries, peaches and whipped cream frosting is great in the spring/summer and can be decorated for any occasion.

Hi A.,
I don't know where you live but in Glastonbury CT there is a new place that makes adorable cakes. It's called Sugarbelle.
I just ordered my daughter's Baptism cake from there.

Hi A.,

If you live near Providence, RI, you can try LaSalle bakery (http://www.lasallebakery.net/). They did my wedding cake and my son's first birthday cake and they do a great job.

Take care,

HI -

I just had a baby shower cake made by Theresa Slade of Cake Lady Creations. Check out her website www.cakeladycreations.com for some great pictures. Everyone thought this cake was wonderful and beautiful. The frosting tastes great and we had marble cake which was so moist!! She also delivered it.

Hope this helps!!

Hi A.,
I have ordered several cakes from Wright's Farm in North Smithfield, RI. I'm not sure where you are - but their pastry is great. You can even bring pictures and your own design requests and they will try to match it. My sister in law brought them the invitation from my baby shower and they copied the design (a pea pod scene) to a "T" - including the colors. I hope this helps.

I don't know if you're from the Cape area, but a friend of mine owns her own business called "Immaculate Confections" (clever name, huh?). She does an AWESOME job at any cake. She has many done cakes for us, including a Cheetah Girls cake, a Bratz cake that rivaled a wedding cake, a cake shaped like a map of Colorado, and a BEAUTIFUL cross cake most recently for our daughter's Baptism. She can do whatever you need, and she makes everything from scratch! These cakes are so good that my husband has traded electrical work at her house for a cake! She is very pleasant to work with. Anyways, her name is Kathy, and her phone # is ###-###-####. I wanted to attach a picture of the Cross cake, but couldn't figure out how to!
