Mission Pet Mart in Mission on Johnson Drive. I would only go there even when we lived over 1000 miles away. My poor dog only got her haircut on summer break and Christmas when we got home but it was worth it
I cannot find a good groomer. If you have one you like, can you please tell me where it is? I am looking for someone who can give my Lhasa Apso a good haircut and be gentle with her. She's had some bad groomers (Sydney's Pet Spa) and now doesn't like to be groomed.
I called my Vet, and the receptionist said all of the employees take thier personal pets to RedBridge Kennel (112th&Wornall) so I made an appt for tomorrow. I hope since they get referrals from the vet that they will do a better job.
I thought about purchasing clippers but not sure if she would let me.
Thanks for all the responses!

I used to work at the Roeland Park Vet Center and I loved it. Their groomer Sarah is WONDERFUL! I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone but her, she prices by the size of the animal (dogs and cats) and is really careful and pays attention to detail on what the owner wants. Plus she's the sweetest girl.
Maybe your local vets office does grooming. I used to have a lhasa that HATED being groomed. They were able to give him a mild sedative at the vets office to keep him calm. They did this twice and then he went willingly afterwards. When he was older and no longer able to stand comfortably on their tables I purchased clippers from the pet store and did it myself at home a little at a time. Even saved me a little $. Good luck to you!
Pawpals off of 72nd and North Oak. Barbara did great with our schnauzer. We don't go there anymore because it's too far away from where we moved to. Her rates were pretty reasonable. Don't have the phone number, but it's probably in the phone book.
I love Tender Touch at 151st and Mur-Len. They are great with my basset mix, who can't stand water. I know that they are booked several days out for actual hair cuts (Barley only gets a shampoo, as he's short hair) I feel that their rates are extremely reasonable and they are always friendly :)
