I would not rely on a Chinese birth chart.I believe that the Lord above will give you what he plans for you to have no matter what method you use to try and change the outcome.

Only thing I have heard of is the "Chinese Birth Chart" :) Usually it's used to determine the sex of a baby who has already been conceived. It has been correct for all but maybe one baby I checked on it. You match the age of the mother at conception with the month of conception. We even looked up when my siblings & I were born & it was right! haha Even the doctor told my parents that my brother was a girl, but the chart had it right! haha Look up the info on your 3 boys and see if it was right. It's kinda neat.

I figure if it works with babies already conceived, why can't it work for planning?? When we are ready to have another baby, we will see if it works! (We have a girl but would like a boy next time)

Just Google "Chinese Birth Chart" and you will find several results. I always use the Shelly Wu one.

Good luck!

My husband and I have been doing a lot of research on this lately, except unlike you, we are trying to have a boy. From what we've read, boys are actually more difficult to conceive based on ovulation and all that stuff. So what we've found from reading and talking to people is that some women's bodies are more alkaline and some are more acidic. Alkaline often results in boys, and acidic in girls. The ph factor can be influenced by diet. I'd never heard of such a thing. And we haven't tried anything yet, but when we are ready my diet will be considered as much as my cycle and other factors. Good luck to you, and God bless all those boys.

Use the chinese birth chart. Both my pregnancy I planned according to it and got my boy first and then my little girl, and I plan on using it again to have another boy next year.
Whatever you do, good luck and I wish you the best!

I did a LOT of research on the subject. I tried the Shettles method, as it made the most sense to me based on the details of how I'd ended up with boys. (they fit the model) After several months of frustration (and a miscarriage) I tried the Shettles, and then said to heck with it, and also did the O+12 method. Whichever one it was, worked! I got my girl!

That being said: I think we can sway the odds, but ultimately there are couples who are just going to have a penchant toward one gender or another, and there isn't anything to be done about that.

Good luck though. Do your research and really think it all through. Hope you get your girl!

There's a book called "How to choose the sex of your baby." It works! :)

My sister (an apprentice midwife) was just telling me yesterday about tracking your PH levels to help determine the baby's gender. She said there are books on the topic. She did say that it is a lengthy process as you have to track your PH levels and wait until they coincide with your ovulation. That could be time consuming and I don't know if you want to wait that long. Also, I have had friends swear by some book on how to have a boy. I'm sorry I wish I could remember the name, but I'm sure you cold do a search and find it. Good luck! I hope it works for you...take it from someone who is having her 3rd daughter. haha I wish I had thought about it before I got pregnant. :) But babies are beautiful and a miracle not matter what!

I have often thought of that same thing. I am a mother of 4 beautiful boys, but I too would love to have a little girl. My husband and I both would love a girl, but he and I don't want to try again b/c we think we will have another boy. I love my boys with all my heart, but I see my twin sister who has a boy and a girl and all the wonderful and challenging things that goes along with having a girl. My questions are always the same, is it morally right? Also, money is tight enough with 4 children and then when do I stop having children and focus on the 4 I have. I hope you get answers, I am a christian and just not sure that that is a christian thing, God chooses the children for us. Good luck...J.

the pH of the vagina makes it more possible to have one sex over another - that is a medically proven fact - read on the internet and see if it's a more acid or more basic to favor a female - can't recall but I'm sure the info is on the internet -
