Does anyone have this ? What are your thoughts on it ? I just saw it and thought what a great product but the sides scare me a little and I think of suffocation. I havent seen it in person just online so I thought I would ask if any of you have one !

Thanks

What can I do next?

Don't know anything about this one, but I'm looking at the Fisher-Price Rock n Play Sleeper. Babies love this (according to reviews) and it's approved for sleeping.

I have a friend that has one, and her newborn loves to sleep in it. It's her second child and she wishes she had it for her first. The sides to me don't look high, or deep, it may just be the way it looks online. Anyway, she loves it :)

I know people that have them and love them. Just remember that you are NOT supposed to put them in the crib.
edited: I don't think the sides are deep enough to pose a suffocation risk plus your baby is strapped in plus it probably says not to leave your baby unattended while in it.

edited: THEY WERE RECALLED BECAUSE THEY WERE USED IN CRIBS EVEN THOUGH THEY SPECIFICALLY SAY DO NOT USE IN CRIB THIS IS ANOTHER RECALL BECAUSE OF CONSUMER STUPIDITY NOT BECAUSE OF THE PRODUCT. USE IT CORRECTLY AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

I have not used it but it looks like a great idea. From the website they list their retailers. Maybe see if there is one not too far from you and you could try it out with your baby. Good luck.

why risk it with an item that's already been recalled?

& to mimic the effects of this product, all you need to do is to use a soft fleece blanket in the cradle-type swing or your carseat. As long as you have a piece of equipmt that leans back & you use that soft blankie.....you're covered without fear of suffocation.

My friend has one that she uses for her son who was born at the end of May. She loves it and he does very well in it. I'm due with baby #2 in March and if she is finished with it I will borrow it for my baby. I've never worried about the baby suffocating due to the sides.
I read the link to the recall information posted by Alisha S., and it seems that any cases of infants suffocating happened when the Nap Nanny was used improperly. It should NOT be used in a crib or other enclosed area. My friend puts hers on the floor.
