This is my 2nd pregnancy but I don't remember this happening the first time. I'm due in 4 days and this morning when I went to the bathroom, there was a BUNCH of discharge in my panty liner. Not to gross you out, but it looked like a snot rag. It was a lot! There was just a tiny little bit of blood in it. Was this my mucous plug? I've also heard a couple horror stories in which women didn't know their water had broken b/c it slowly leaked out and they ended up having to have emergency c sections. The past couple of mornings, I've woken up a little damp in pelvis area but I think its sweat from my stomach hanging over. Lately it feels like my poor baby barely has any room and I can literally SEE every movement...i can see her arm or foot when she moves and it freaks me out. So I'm wondering if maybe there isn't water in there or something. Maybe I'm just a worry wart? ANY advice would be great...
i guess maybe you are ready!!!! b'cause that happens with mi too if you star to feel a little pain after a little wile you in labor, when that happens to my was 10 days before my delivery date
Sounds like a mucus plug to me...call the dr...they will probably want you to come in to check you out...Good luck!
It sounds like you lost your mucous plug. Nothing to worry about.
I also agree that it was the mucus plug! With mine, I had discharge that gradually increased over a week, but other friends have had a large amount of the mucus plug come out at once, like what you are describing.
I had my little one one day before my due date - about 1 1/2 weeks after having the increased discharge.
So it sounds like your little one is going to be making their appearance soon!
Yes that was your mucus plug. I lost mine a couple days before giving birth. Call your dr. and let them know. It does not mean your water will break asap. But it is a sign that birth is near! Congrats
Same thing happened to me 5 weeks before my due date. I called my doctor and she had me come in for check up. It turned out to be the mucus plug and I had my baby in less than 24 hours from spotting the discharge. Being due in 4 days, it sounds like the MP so I would definately call your doctor.

Happened to me with my first. Plug came out in the a.m. and my water broke later that night (3 a.m.) and it was ON. Thank goodness I was mere blocks from the hospital, as I was ready to meet them in the parking lot for my epidural!

The same thing happened to me, but I was only 6 months pregnant. It was my plug and then the "water" slowly leaked out and i never really new what was going on. I had my daughter 3 months early. I would get it checked out asap. Good luck and congrats on the new baby!
Call your doctor...sounds exactly like the mucus plug to me. The doctor will most likely want you to come in, just to get checked out....maybe you'll have your baby today! :)

I can't be of help with the mucous plug because I never knew I had lost mine with #1... Likewise, I didn't know my water had broken because it slowly leaked (along with my bladder). So, I went in to "just get checked out" at 36.5 weeks and it turned out I was leaking amniotic fluid. My son was born the next day, but luckily not via an emergency section. I'd definitely get checked out. Good luck!!!
