Merry Christmas ladies and gents!

May you all have a blessed day!

What traditions do you do Christmas morning? I make cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate to eat while we are opening presents!

What can I do next?

No crazy shopping anymore for the adults in the extended family. We do a yankee swap so I only had to buy 2 gifts (one from hubby and one from me) and ended up with one gift at the end of it all. Food and family is what its all about. Plus watching the grandkids open things and have fun.

Tradition? Eating way too many christmas cookies and then sending them to work with my youngest the day after to get them all out of the house. lol

Merry Christmas!!!

I read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas to the kids before they go to bed. Even though they are older now, they still enjoy it :-).

Merry Christmas!

We just chill in the morning and open presents. All the kids are older, so nothing crazy. I cook for several family members that come over, so after my relaxing morning, I hit the kitchen and stay busy all day.

Merry Christmas W. W. and to all who celebrate!

We do a Christmas casserole that is prepared in advance (just pop in oven), two pots of coffee generally over the course of the morning (one regular, and then the second is a nice variety I get for Christmas in my stocking that's local to here).

Kids now are at an age where they give to each other and us (and pets) with money they've earned. Love this so much more.

Cinnamon rolls are a *thing* with me - one of my passions. Do you make them from scratch? If so, can you post your recipe???? sounds devine. Your family is very lucky. I have never attempted. YUM

Hope you and the others had a great Christmas. My daughter and I go to my mom's for Christmas Eve and have dinner, then sleep over. We enjoy staying up late after dinner watching a typical Christmas movie, sometimes it's "Elf", other times something like "A Christmas Story." Then we sleep in, have a late breakfast, then I take her to be with her dad's side of the family for a few hours so she can open gifts with them, then I pick her up again and bring her to mom's so she can open gifts with us after we have dinner (leftovers from Christmas Eve). We play Christmas carols while we open gifts. Sometimes we have driven by the light displays on Christmas Eve, other times we have done it on Christmas day on my way to pick her up. I play Christmas carols in the car for her too.

I bake Christmas cookies for almost a week. Christmas Eve I make a big dinner for my kids and the grandkids we all open gifts on Christmas Eve at my house everyone leaves kind of late on Christmas Eve back to their own homes where the grandchildren will open up their gifts from Santa Christmas morning. Later Christmas day everyone will return to my home to eat leftovers and watch movies while the grandkids play with their new toys. This Is How We Roll every year for Christmas! Merry Christmas Mamas and
Happy Holdiays to those who don’t celebrate Christmas!
We start by reading the Christmas story out of Luke 2. Next, we open presents while eating cookies, chocolate, and appetizers. We finish the day lounging in PJs watching movies.
I wish all of you a blessed holiday season!
