Hi everybody,

It's been several months since I moved to Pleasanton from Paris in France (yes, that far country in Europe, not Texas!). I've been quite busy getting in my new life and improving the language. I must confess that I am a typically French fashion victim and I had all my favorite beauty places in Paris. Now there are some things that can't be changed! I really need a good hair cut!!! and my family too! I need someone who will listen to my own tastes.
Thanks for your advice

My cousin Michelle owns a salon in Pleasanton called Impressions. She is a very talented and good hearted person, with many years of experience. I was a hair stylist myself for many years, and I can tell you she is quite good. She is also the mother of young children.

I am from the Pleasanton area myself and though I have never been to Paris, I'm guessing that there are not a great number of similarities. Welcome, and best of luck to you!

If you don't mind driving to San Ramon, Club Sport has a Spa and massage, pedicure, manicure, facial etc. I use Jennifer.

If you dont mind trying something in the Livermore, check out Three Palms Day Spa. They have hair stylists, massage, manicure and pedicure people there. My hair stylist is Toni Falconer who is fabulous but there is one woman who does hair there and she is European (I want to say her name is Marina but I am not sure). I would also recommend Shannon Tinoco there for facials, etc and Amy Widner for manicures/pedicures. The main number for the salon is ###-###-####. The spa itself is a large victoria style home that they all work in that has been very well taken care of.
