Looking for Shop to Repair Toyota
I was just handed an estimate for about $1300 in repairs. My Toyota is only 6 years old. Can anyone recommend a place that is honest so that I can get a second opinion or even have it repaired there as well? Thanks in advance!
So What Happened?™
I saw Mark Gabriel today at his shop in Plano. He is amazing. We put the car on the lift and examined it carefully. My repair was only 150 dollars, including my state inspection. That's quite a savings over the dealership! Thanks Kelly!

I found Mark Gabriel while I was on the side of the road, or did he find me...either way, he knows his stuff, he has been more than fair and honest to us. We used him ever since the day he stopped to help me out. He is a master technician for Lexus, Toyota, Lincoln, and Ford....even though he is a further drive for us, we gladly go. He has an old-fashioned since of business and customer service that is so refreshing. I don't have to worry that I am getting ripped off with him....

he works out of a garage off Legacy and Alma: Car Care Central, but when we pay, we pay him directly so I think he rents the slot or something. Can't say enough good about him.

Plano Tire at Hwy 75 and 15th is Plano is a great place to take your car. They are very honest!! I've been going to them for almost 25 years with never a complaint. The first time I went to them I took a $850 estimate from Sears to see if they could beat it. They took one look at it and said "we can take off this item b/c you don't even have it on your car". I ended up paying only around $200 for what was REALLY wrong. The same guys have owned it since I've started going, so that tells you they have been around for a very long time. Look them up and good luck!!

I have been taking my car to Stuttgart Auto Center for at leats the past 5 years and I have a friend of the famly that has been taking her car to them for the past 15 years. They are wonderful and have had the best rate yet. 2340 Merell Rd.

My husband is a mechanic at Chea-Ron in The Colony. It's on Main St., north of N. Colony Blvd. He just started working there last week because he likes their business ethics much better than where he was at before. They are good, honest people. I've told a few friends that he just started working there, and they said they love that place!
