Looking for Reasonable Gymnastic Lessons

Hi, my 3.5 year old really wants to take gymnastic lessons. I thought we would hold off but she tries to do cartwheels and stuff on her own so now I'm thinking maybe it is a good idea. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for gymnastics classes that are not too expensive. Thanks.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks. I've got us on the list at Tampa Gym and Dance. Hopefully, we'll get in for the next session. I will call LaFleur to check on their rates.

It depends on what you want her to learn. If you just want a place for her to tumble around safely, I would recommend a city recreational center. I live in Largo, and they have classes, but I am sure they are limited, but way less expensive than a gymnastics place. If you want her to learn to do it well, then I would recommend Apollo school of Gymnastics in Clearwater. But, this is going to be more pricey than the city rec center. Again it all depends on what you want her to learn. If you aren't sure, start with a rec center and you can always move her to a gym. Good Luck.

My son started lessons at LaFleur's on Anderson Road in Tampa a few weeks ago, and I've been very impressed so far. It's the first thing he asks about every morning when he wakes up!

I'm not sure how much the gymnastics lessons are at the Tampa Recreation Center is - that was also mentioned in your responses - but my daughter goes to ballet there and it's $35 for a 10 week sesson and then $25 for the 7 weeks. You can check out the website:

BUT... you have to get on a wait list for the next registration session. I think we were on it for a few months, and I hear the gymnastics is really really popular.

We go to the New Tampa Rec Center off of Bruce B Downs and the facility is really really nice.

Not sure where in Tampa you are, but in Oldsmar there is Victory Gymnastics - they seem to have a nice program & facility.

I am not sure where you live but the Tampa Gym & Dance is a city park & recreational program that is reasonable for the little ones. The have great teachers and a wonderful gymnastics program. It is located on Florida Avenue and Sligh in Tampa. Give them a call.
