I am looking for an inexpensive gymnastics place in the North Fort Worth area to enroll my 3yr and 19mo old boys. I checked on Little Gym and they seem outrageously expensive, but I don't have anything to compare that price to. Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

The Saginaw Rec Center offers gymnastics classes at a low rate. It's actually a really nice facility and they teach the kids a lot more than some expensive gyms.

My daughter goes to Flips for Fun in Keller.
It's $50/month, the only catch is that they're moving over the summer so no classes till fall. It's a great facility, my daughter loves it!

We really like the gymnastics at the Hurst Rec Center (Pipeline and Precinct Line). We signed up my son for a 4 week class, one time a week, and it is $11 and that is the non-resident price! There were 10 kids in his class today with a teacher and an assistant. Check it out!

You can also check out the Roanoke Rec center. It's way cheaper than all of those gymnastic places and my kids love Ms. Sue. There is a summer session starting in July but it fills up quickly!

Your local rec center is the way to go. Just go to the City of FTW website and you will find the info. They have a lot more than gymnastics too. My daughter has been to gymnastics, music classes, art classes, swimming lessons and they generally range from $30-$50 a session.

My daughter has gone to ASI Gmnastics for almost 2yrs since they opened. It's right there on 377 @ Kroger Prkwy. They start at 18mths+. Your youngest would be in Tiny Tots Gym & the 3yr old in KidzGym, would be $105 a month for both boys and that's one 50min class a week. They do so much with the little ones, like when I was there with my daughter yesterday (she's 9) they learned about football..it's a weekly shapes, colors, etc learning on top of the gym learning. Also each kid gets a free trial class so you can try it out : )

A great gym in North Fort Worth is Texas Tumblers. They're just off Denton Hwy and Watauga Rd. www.txtumblers.com

My daughter has been a member there for 2 1/2 years, but she is an all star cheerleader. We love it there. The owners are wonderful people and the coaches are amazing.

Good luck!

You could try ASI...although I think that would only work for your older child. There's also a place called Flips for Fun that I hear great things about (just off of Kroger Road and 377). Good luck!

Have you tried the YMCA? Also, the Parks and Recreation Dept. sometimes offers these classes...at least in Arlington. I was always on a very strict budget when my kids were little, but we managed to do gymnastics through these services. Good luck!

Hi S.,

There is a gymnastics gym in Argyle that is pretty reasonable. I know they are doing lessons this summer for like $30 a month. And that is age 3 years and up. Its called Cross Timbers Gym and its on Hamilton. The lady you need to speak with is Laura, she is the owner. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

We currently go to ASI and my boys (3 and 5 ) love it. We also used to go to NRH Rec center and the classes are great. Most of them are during the day and I work, so now we go to ASI. Both were wonderful.

I have friends that go to flips for fun and love it.
