We are looking for recommendations of good places to take pictures. I was planning on going to the beach but the weather has been so cold lately there. I have bright shirts and jeans for all of our family members so I am looking for something that would go well with that- summer like even though it is almost fall. We live in San Jose and could travel up to about 45 minutes.

Hove you been to the Municipal Rose Garden in San Jose or Filoli. Both have beautiful flowers and gardens year round?
There are also great places in Scotts Valley & Felton in the Forest. But I wouldn't be discouraged about the beach. Even on a cloudy day pics can turn out great.

Maybe BelGatos Park in Los Gatos or the beach.
There are lots of great spots for photos at Vasona Park in Los Gatos. In San Jose you can have photos taken at the Rose Garden on Naglee or at History San Jose Park near Happy Hallow Park on Senter Road.
