Looking for Ideas for a Birthday Party in Grapevine Area for a 3 Year Old
Hi Ladies....
I'm looking for a fun place to have a birthday party for my daughter who will be turning 3 in May. I'd like to stay around the Grapevine area. It would probably be for about 15 kiddos, both boys and girls. I'll be about 36-37 weeks pregnant with Baby#2 so low maintenance on my part would be great and of course I'm budget sensitive but might be willing to pay more depending on the event. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated!

I am also planning a party for a 3 year old… but mine is a son. He is really into Thomas right now and we are looking into the Choo Choo Station at Grapevine Mills

It seemed like a LOT less money that the party options that they have for the Grapevine Vintage Railroad (but also very cool)
Good Luck, you have received a BUNCH of great ideas :-)

I second the recomendation for Paradise Pond. I had my son's party there and they were very helpful. We just picked up some pizza, brought a cake plus all the supplies they recommend (most I got at the dollar store). Very easy.

K., when my kids were little, I would do things at a slow time of day at a popular place. By doing this, there are plenty of tables available, without having to rent the party room. I would bring the cake, napkins, etc...
You can buy a lot of tolkeins and distribute them evenly. I have done this at places like Chuck e Cheeses and Putt-Putt. Putt-Putt may have lower prices for younger kids when accompanied by an adult, if the the weather permits golfing. As a back up or in addition to you can let the kids use tolkiens at the games inside Putt-Putt. Another idea for little girls is a Tea Party. You would serve your beverage of choice in little tea cups along with little snacks. The girls would come to your house, mom's house, sister-in-laws house or sister's house, mother-in-laws house or a friends house. They would be dressed in dresses ready to be little ladies and you or someone would apply make-up to the girls using a new q-tip on each child to prevent the spreading of germs. Of course the minimal make-up use would be done with the moms permission. This is a good time to reinforce table manners, keeping it fun of course. While the children are eating you could read a short story about a tea party. If you have a clean garage and you want to keep food off your floor in the house you can do a theme party in the garage. Enjoy, they are only little once. J. Wright

I think Let's Pretend Tea parties is great but would probably be better for an older child.. about 5 or 6.
My church, First Baptist Grapevine has an indoor playground area... called Paradise Pond.
It cost $150.00 for one room and the kids can play in all types of centers and there are coordinators there to help as well.
My girlfriend.. only had one party room and just took turns and let the kids eat first and do cake and then had the adults eat second.. so that she didn't have to pay the extra 50.00

If that link doesn't work go to www.fbcgrapevine.com and click on ministries preschool and paradise pond link.
There is also Main Event which she might be too little for as well..
You could also take them to the Gpv Mills mall and do Glow in the Dark Putt Putt
or go to the Teddy Bear Factory downtown grapevine.. they do a great job.
Hope this helps!

The Baptist church in Grapevine off of Main St has a place called the Lily Pond or something like that they rent out for birthday parties. My granddaughter went there a couple of years ago and still talks alot about it.
You might check it out.

K.,
My daughter just turned 3 last Jan. 18th. We actually held it at the Rainforest Cafe at Grapevine Mills. it's $13.95 perchild. That's with an entre from the Kids menu, hat, balloons (choice of color you want), drink, and a souvenier plate from Rainforest. We had 10 kids. We there on a Sun. It's loud so beware. I actually took my daughter to see if she like it first before I booked it. It was great, I didn't have to clean up any mess!! We brought our own cake.

For my daughters 3 yr we had it at ASI gymnastics in Keller. The kids had a lot of fun. All you have to do is show up with your cake and decorations. They unload your car and set up for you.
