Seeking Ideas for 4-Yr Old Girl Birthday Party

My daughter is turning 4 on June 12th. We will be moving the following weekend into a new home, so obviously a home-based party will be a bit of a challenge this year. I would like to find a fun place to host the party; I've checked a couple of locations(Oogles and Googles and PumpItUp) already but would rather not spend more than $200.

We live in Euless, so Grapevine, Irving, Southlake, HEB, and possibly Arlington are possibilities.

Thanks in advance!

Hi C.,

If she likes cuddly animals, the Texas Teddy Bear Factory on Main Street in Grapevine is great. It's like Build a Bear workshop only not in the mall and, I think, a bit more unique. Each child gets to make a toy and they read stories and play games all with a bear theme. You pay a price per child and it ranges depending on what you want (the children can just make an animal or have an animal and an outfit etc). My daughter had her 7th birthday there and the people are great. I think it would be good for younger children too. Website is www.texasteddybearfactory.com

Have you checked on Let's Pretend Tearoom? My friend owns it and she does lots of birthday parties. Don't know costs, but it may be worth checking into. They are located downtown Grapevine on Main St.

We just had our daughter's 4th birthday party last weekend at the Treehouse at Glenview Baptist Church. The kids all seemed to really enjoy themselves. Our daughter really enjoyed the party. They supplied everything... paper goods, balloons, lemonade, etc. except for the cake and food (primary colored supplies), so if you're not set on a specific theme, they make the party super easy. You get an hour in the playscape area and about 45 minutes in the party room. They will set up everything for you in the party room while the kids and you are in the playscape area. There is no set fee as another responder mentioned. It's by donation only. It does book up quickly though. Good luck with your search.
