I am looking for a dresser with a hutch for my daughter's bedroom. She collects dolls and I need a place to put them. It has been practically impossible to find what I need. I would appreciate any advice as to where I can look. I've already hit all of the retail places like Rooms to Go and Ashley Furniture.

You might want to try USA Baby just off Preston in Frisco. They sell some gorgeous furniture and a lot of it doesn't look like "baby" furniture. We have been really happy with them. Good Luck
I bought my daughter's dresser with hutch at Baby World off Inwood and Spring Valley near the Galleria.
Try checking out craigslist or freecycle.

I would recommend looking at USA Baby. I know you don't need baby furniture, but they have a lot of dresser/hutch combos there. Most of the time they show the changing table/hutch combo on the display floor, but then you can order the dresser instead of the changing table part, if that makes sense. We got our son's furniture there and instead of the part under the hutch having four drawers and a door (more like a changing table), we had them order the 6 drawer dresser for us.

Have you tried looking in the dining deparments and find a hutch and buffet and use it instead of a dresser with a hutch look? My husband is a buyer for Rooms To Go - he said you may need to get creative to find what you are looking for. The problem with the buffet/hutch idea is that the drawers may not be deep enough...you'll have to look and see. One suggestion he made is to find a dresser you like and see if there is a hutch with the same finish in the dining department that you can put on top.

I purchased my daughters furniture at Pottery Barn Kids and Bombay Kids and both probably have what you are describing and they both have websites so you can shop online.
