Looking for a Pediatric or Nice Family Doctor - Elgin,IL

I've had problems finding a good pediatrician for my daughter in the Elgin area and finally ended up with Dr. Christine Rejdukowski in St. Charles, she is excellent. Calls right away after hours if you have a problem, she has 3 girls of her own and is just very nice and friendly. There are 3 dr's in her office but I prefer her. I've gone to Associates in Pediatrics when my daughter was little and didnt' care for Dr. Esposito there. I asked a question about insurance when we possibly weren't going to be covered and he gave was very arrogant and wasn't willing to work w/ you. even though they get discounts from ins. companies but when a patient doesn't have ins. for a little bit you don't get any type of discount at least from it. And i just wasn't comfortable with him. I can't say anything for Wynn or Sheade I never saw them, they wouldn't let me switch dr's within the same office so I left!
It is hard to find a good one and it's worth my drive to St. Charles to this one.

Dr. Jennifer Schening in South Elgin is fabulous! Very down to earth and accessible. She personally returns calls, never a nurse. And she adjusts her schedule to fit in a sick child. I would highly recommend!

I have been taking my daughters to Schwartz Pediatrics since my first was born. It is a small practice, Dr.Sam and Dr.Dave are brothers. The staff is very freindly and helpful. They have a 24 nurse line in case of emergency. My insurance has changed several times in the past 5 years and they have accepted all the plans. The part I like the most is the kids get used to the doctors, since there is only 2. It doesn't seem to happen that way with large groups. Good Luck.

I highly recommend Dr. Michael Sheade at Associates in Pediatrics. They have 3 locations. One in Streamwood and 2 in Elgin. Their website is: www.aipdocs.com I've found their front desk personnel to be helpful and organized. Dr Michael is great! He gives you his full attention and is very patient no matter how many questions you have. My 3 year old loves him.

We go to Schwartz Pediatrics. Dr. Dave and his brother Dr. Sam have offices in Schaumburg and Bartlett. Dr. Sam's appearance can be a little off putting (he is kinda scraggly and wrinkled and has been known to wear sandals in the office) but he is sweet man as is Dr. Dave. My three year old does seem to prefer Dr. Dave- he is a little more soft spoken of the two.

Drs Michael or Wynn Sheade are both excellent. They have offices in Elgin and one in Streamwood. I moved North to the Cary area and I'm still driving down to see them as I haven't found anyone I like better! We see Dr. Michael Sheade, but if he's unavailable I also like Dr. Wynn Sheade as well.

I absolutely love my son's doctor. He is in St Charles at St Charles Family Medical Center, Dr Darryl Link. He's very calm and relaxed. My son loves him and he has like 4 or 5 kids of his own :)

We have a wonderful doctor in Batlett. Dr. Sam and Dr. Dave Schwartz at Schwartz Pediatrics. They ar every down to earth and understand a parents concerns. I am always able to get my children in when they are sick and they have appointments on Saturdays.
