Pediatrician in Rolling Meadows Area

We take my 1 year old son to Dr. Mike Slavik and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him!! Dr. Charles Slavik is his dad and is awesome too. We've seen Dr. Celina Miller (also in the practice) and love her too, but haven't seen her in the office, only right after Alex was born and one other time when he was in for Jaundice.

The three doctors in this practice are not medicine-happy. They're very even keel and ask you questions as well are very open to your questions. I've never felt rushed and have talked with all three of them at 3 am -- and never once have I been made to feel as if I inconvenienced them. I highly recommend this practice. They will meet with you before you have your baby if you'd like to set up an appointment, at no charge. We met Dr. Mike and loved him from the start -- he has three babies of his own, one born last year. Good luck and send me an email if you need more info. For my daughter we go to Associates in Pediatrics on Schaumburg Road just west on Barrington Road in Streamwood but on the Schaumburg/HOffman/Streamwood border. They have a main ofice in Elgin too. Her Doctor is Dr. Michael Sheade and I also went to him growing up. There are two brothers in the practice Wynn and Michael Sheade... I would recommend either of them.

I, too, go to the Slavik, Salvik, Miller practice and LOVE them all!! Like the other post said, I've talked to them all at various times of the day and night and I've never been made to feel like a bother. We see Dr. Miller mostly, but have also seen Dr. Mike on many occasions. You have the phone numbers from the post below. I would highly recommend them!!

I use the doctor's at Wee Care Pediatrics ###-###-####. They are in Arlington Heights and I've only been going to them for a year. I absolutely love this place, my son who is now 2 had a penial adhesion and none of the other pediatricions that I was going to before ever mentioned anything. But when I took my son to this practice they noticed it right away and set me up to go and see a pediatric uroligist, so now my son will be having a minor surgery, but it is better now than when he gets older and is more aware of that area. I really do like them because they did pay such close attention to my son and spent time with me asking question, letting me ask questions, I never had that rushed feeling like I was just another $$ to get in and out the door.
