Hi Mamas!
I have been dealing with "Window World"...NIGHTMARE...just canceled our contract. Then "Windows R Us" didn't show up! I don't want to spend the however much it is to renew my "Angie's List" subscription, as I was hoping someone here could recommend a company..
Thanks!
P.s This is for one window, 90" x 50"

What can I do next?

S.,
We just went through shopping for new windows. You do need to do a little research on what kind of window you want. (I am completely not an expert, but)Basically there is wood (the classic choice), vinyl (lower cost), and fiberglass, a newer choice. Not every company does every kind. We decided on fiberglass from Metropolitan Window ###-###-####). They are not in yet so I can't comment on that but so far so good with the company. If you want vinyl, Swingline by Legacy Remodeling might be a good choice. They have a bit of a hard sell (10% discount if you decide tonight!) but a good vinyl window.
Good luck.

HI! I'm another Mama on here. My husband used to be the Project Manager for Home Depot's Installation Services (Roofs and Windows) and I do not recommend them. They just use the same subcontractors you could hire yourself and lump you over the head for it! He runs his own business now and does both roofs and windows. He's busy but I'm sure he could squeeze in one window. He does the work himself. If you're interested in a free estimate you can pm me or call him at ###-###-####. His name is Bob.

We used All-Nu Windows. My brother recommended them. We had 4 window companies come to our house and this man gave us the least pressure. (The rep from one company was arrogant and indignant.) He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the product line. The installers were friendly and tidy. We've had our windows for 2 years and are very happy with them.

Hi S., Have you considered using Lowes or Home Depot? I have had a lot of items installed by Lowes and have been really happy with them.

I highly recommend Scott Brothers Windows and Doors. They replaced 16 windows in our house and were absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a window recommendation, we have been thrilled with our Marvin windows.

We had ThermoTwin windows put in our whole house. Although I have no complaints about the job they did, but the windows themselves are not very soundproof, as they claimed they were....just a thought. Have you thought about calling a private contractor rather than a window company?

We recently had Swingline come in and replace all of our windows. We are very happy with the windows and very happy with our salesman and the men that did the actual replacements.
