Hello, my family and I are new to the area and are looking for a good independent baptist church in the area. We are stationed at Bolling AFB and are looking for something not to long of a drive. Any help would be much appreciated, In Christ

God's Will Christian Church is located at 6611 Old Alexandria Ferry Road in Clinton, MD. It is a non-denominational church. We would love to have you worship with us.

Dear V.,
It's so exciting and scary to find the church home that'll be just the right fit! My church home is Burke Community Church in Burke VA. It's not so large where'll you think you might 'fall through the cracks' and it's not too small, enough programs for mom dad and kids. It's actually not bad of a drive, we've had a mom from Bolling and others in DC attend. The website is www.bccva.org It's easily accessible and right off the Fairfax County Parkway.
Also even if you find another perfect church fit for you still think about coming on Tuesdays. There's the women's ministry BreakAway, a great opprtunity for Bible studies. They normally offer 5-6 silmutaneous Bible studies, some that may have really in depth homework etc and oned for [parenting etc. And you do not have to attend BCC to come to these, its a great way to meet new people and there are a lot of military wives etc.
Good Luck and God Bless,
Pammy L.

Hi there,

We go to Calvary Chapel, in ALexandria. There are a few others. You can search for closer locations when you google it. I think they are wonderful. It's non denominational...a church for Christians! I have been to a couple Calvary Chapels, they are great churches with wonderful people!
Good luck and God bless!

Hi V.,

My family attends the First Baptist Church of Glendarden. It is awesome for the kids (lots of activities), dynamic message every Sunday that is easily applied to your life. Check it out. You can see some of the sermons at their website.

God bless,
T.

Try the church their on base. We attend there sometimes and the people are very friendly. We have lots of friends that still go there (they are members). My mom is always in and out of the hospital and they never forget her, and send her flowers, cards and make phone calls. They never forget her and she/we haven't been there in awhile b/c of mom illnesses. I think since you are there on base it's a good start. Good Luck.
