I was told by my doc to try taking liquid vitamins for a while for medical reasons, but it didn't work out for me. I can stomach a lot of things but the taste of this stuff is unreal. I don't know very many people that can tolerate it. The same thing happened with my older sister and she's even tougher than I am with just sucking stuff up and doing what you gotta do. I talked to my doc again and he prescrbed a chewable multi for me. If you feel like you really need a vitamin I'd suggest talking to your doctor about some good options for you. I just wanted to warn you about the liquid stuff. It's best to be mentally prepared for somthing like that...lol

ok....i read the bottom post....you have to experiment...it's like a science project...you can't mix some of this stuff with just anything, and everyone's tastes are different....some stuff is stronger than others....the one above works fantastic for my son...and my daughter likes it as well...they even ask for it sometimes....anyway.....try www.momEmineral.com and ask her too....she knows her stuff...

why do you want to take liquid vitamins? usually they are for people who can't swallow pills or children. If you eat a healthy diet and a variety of foods, you should not need vitamins.

Hi J.,

Our modern diets have the majority of us gorging on calaries but starving for the nutrition found naturally in fruits, vegetables, and other healthy foods.

To compensate, we take multivitamin/mineral supplements, but they may not be as good for you as you think. Minerals in traditional multivitamins are generally "isolated", which can make them difficult for your body to absorb. In addition, isolated minerals can literally rob the vitamins of their critial antioxidant ability before they have a chance to be absorbed by the body.

Nutrients in fruits and vegetables are never "isolated" - they are bound to organic compounds such as fiber and proteins. This natural binding process helps the minterals remain soluble during digestion and inhibits their ability to generate free radicals. Our bodies are designed to extract nutrients in this "bound" form.

I work with a company that has just released scientiic research on our multivitamin/mineral supplements.

Our company has created a multivitamin/mineral supplement using a patented process called Oligofructose Complex. This revolutionary process binds minerals to organic compounds to help keep them soluble in the intestine, while also protecting the antioxidant power of your vitamins. There's never been a multivitamin like it.

The problem with trying to get all our vitamins and minerals from the food we eat, is that when processed, they lose much of their nutritional value.

I'd love to talk to you about our products and see if it's something you might be interested in. My company is listed on my profile. Just give me a call and we'll chat.

Yup, there's something about that 13-18 month old stage where they do the whole "separation-individuation" phase and they realize that when they hit you, it doesn't hurt them. So, it's actually a pretty common developmental milestone. My advice, for what it's worth: when he hits, make a pained face, say "No hitting; that hurts Mommy", and put him down and withdraw a little. If he clamors for attention, pick him up look him in the eye and say, "Okay, but NO HITTING." You are going to have to do this consistently for a while.

I am not sure about which liquid vitamin works, but I can tell you about a great source for mail order vitamins...Swanson. They have a web site and they sell their own brand and other national brands. I use their softgel multivitamins and am happy with them. They have a set shipping and handling fee no matter how much you spend. Never been disappointed with their service. I can also get children's vitamins without sugar, artificial colors or flavors from them.
