Hey Mamas
Can you recommend (or tell me to stay away from!) any lawn care companies for fertilizing and weed control? I do not need people to cut grass or edge, etc. I just need someone to tend my lawn. I have a typical sized yard, about 4500 square feet. I am open to big or small companies, but I want someone who knows what they're doing. Preferrably someone who's been around for a while. I'm getting quotes from Chem Lawn and Scotts and Lawn Doctor, but I wanted to get your opinions too!
My husband uses True Green. I think they come out every six weeks. They fertilize and weed control depending upon the time of year. We've had no problems with them at all. Our trees had ants and other bugs and they treated that too.
There's another company called True Green. If you want somebody else to do it, that's the way to go.

We use TruGreen and they do a fantastic job about $60 a month.
AJ Southwest! They do fertilization and stuff like that. They are very resonably priced too. I am sorry I don't have their number handy, but it's in Fort Worth, and they go as far as you are and even further. Hope this helps!
My husband uses the Weed and Feed products, I think Scott's brand. If you just need occasional weed control and fertilizer, talk to someone at Home Depot or Lowes and ask them what products they recommend. Our yard is always beautiful.
