Laser Hair Removal "Down There"

I am considering laser hair removal in the bikini area, and I was wondering if anyone can give me feedback and/or referals. Has anyone had this done all (and I mean all) or most of the way down there, and how do you like it?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I decided to just do everything at once and so I can enjoy not shaving longer, so I am doing my legs, underarms and bikini. I found a lady that works at Ultimate Image Aesthetics & Laser Center in Plano named Cindy, and she is so kind and good at what she does. It is also an OBGYN office, so it is doctor supervised. They have very reasonable rates, and although it is very, very painful, it will be so worth it!

Definitely do it! It is so worth it. I love the fact that I don't have to shave my legs everyday anymore and my bikini looks great without all that rasor burn I used to get from shaving. I am hairy and am going to get my arms done next.

It does hurt, but it doesn't have to! The person who does my treatments calls in a prescription for numbing cream. You won't feel anything with that!

PM me if you want my friend's number, she works at a plastic surgeon's office in Lewisville so it is also doctor supervised. A lot of places may not have that and it definitely can be dangerous!

Good luck.

I have had my bikini and underarm areas done and I am very happy with it. I use Jodi at Lifetime Laser in Frisco. You can either purchase by treatment or her lifetime package. I went with the lifetime package. I have had six treatments so far and we will still need more, but most of the hair has been removed. I rarely need to share. It did hurt, but just for a couple of seconds when she was doing the work. I would love to do my legs, but I will have to wait a couple years for that.

I have had my upper lip, chin and underarms done, and I LOVE IT!!! The lady that does my treatments said the bikini area hurts less than the underarm which didn't hurt to me. I'm sure the pain factor has to do with the person who is operating the machinery (their experience) and your own pain level.

I go to a great place in Plano that is run by a Ob/Gyn. They have good rates and are very professional. I will probably get it all taken off as soon as I get the $$. They always start at a lower level on the machine and work up to what is good for you as far as pain is concerned (also what your skin will tolerate). If you are in the Plano area and are interested, I'll give you their number!!

Good luck!!

Ok, I'am having my whole leg, under arms and whole Bikini area, and my lip done. The only area that hurts is the lip and bikini area for me. And when I say it hurts "IT HURTS".. But it's just like having a baby; it hurts having a child but most of us, do have more children even though we know it's going to hurt.. LOL! I guess it's the price, we pay to be beautiful!

I'am having mine done in Mesquite, he's charging me 500.00 for each session which are 90 minutes long. Plus, he's a OB-GYN.

I am currently having laser hair removal treatments on my chin and underarms. I love it! I have had 4 treatments and have 2 more to go. Sometimes the laser instrument they use can get really warm, but if I tell the nurse she cools it off with a cooling spray and gives me an icepack to cool off my chin or underarms. I haven't experienced any pain that would cause me to discontinue my treatments. It only takes about 30 minutes. I can't wait until I have saved up enough money to do my legs and bikini area.

It feels like ruberbands popping you... i had it done twice and it didnt work! I went to smooth solutions and it left my entire shins of my legs white...i thought the skin color was permanently changed, but luckily it came back a couple months later....I think some people have good results...i didnt! But remember any kind of hormonal change can cause at once "dormant" hair folicles to begin growing hair... Good luck! www.beautymarkboutique.com

Don't do it! It's way too expensive and it hurts horribly! I had my first treatment and it was horrible! I cancelled my other treatments afterward. However, they're trying to get more money from me for cancelling. It's a giant pain! I do not recommend it at all!

I will when I can save enough to have it done. I do all too. I would go for it. I hate shaving!
