I just sold my Graco travel system jogging stroller because the front wheel didn't swivel. I also just sold my In Step double wide jogging stroller because it was too bulky and my 5 year old doesn't want to ride in it sitting next to my 19 month old because they fight. So, I'm in the market for a replacement. I want a jogging stroller with a swivel wheel. I also think I would like something similar to the One Step Ahead "Buggy Board Maxi" that hitches on to the back of the stroller for the second child to stand on. Problem is, it only supports 44 lbs, and my 5 year old weighs 50 lbs. Any recommendatons???

I like the BOB. I think it holds a child up to 75 lbs but it does not have a hitch.

I really like the Bob Revolution series joggers. They are pricey, but worth it. I am still saving up for mine... but the weight for a single is 70 lbs and I think a double is around 80 or 90. I used to be a member of stroller strides and I tried out a lot of different ones and it really was the best.

I recently became the mother of 2 and I purchased a phil and teds stoller. It is amazing! Turns on a dime, narrow with stadium type seating and not super long either. It has been a godsend. you just attach the 2nd seat in the front or back depending on the weight of the children. You will have to check it out. It is a bit $$ but well worth the money if you are serious about walking, jogging and all of that. www.philandteds.com

Check out www.onestepahead.com for their jog strollers. I had the double for the last 4 years and LOVED it. I just sold it because I only need a single now. I've had the single from the same catalog since March and so far I am loving it as well. It is actually a Babytrend, but it's a special edition made just for One Step Ahead with some extras (rain shield, tire pump). My double had a fixed wheel, my single has a swivel that can be locked and I am really enjoying the easier steering. I can easily steer with one hand. It sells for $159, plus you can usually find a 15% off coupon code on www.couponcabin.com (I used code "15SAVONE") which brings the price down to about $130. An awesome price for great quality stroller. I know you can spend $400 on a very fancy stroller, but I personally don't think it's worth it! My 4 1/2 year old is 50 lbs as well; if you find something for your son to ride on, I'd love to hear what it is!
