JFF...discovered A Little Heaven in My Cup This Morning

Normally when I drink coffee, I like a TON of cream and sugar. No powdered, non dairy creamer for me. No Sweet and Low, no Nutrisweet, no Splenda. Blech. I like the good stuff.

This morning we ran out of creamer, and I REALLY needed my coffee! Desperate times call for desperate measures! I grabbed some of my daughter's chocolate milk and whipped cream in a can and added them both to my cup. Zzoooohmygaawwd I am drinking desert for breakfast! Holy cow. I really want another hot cup of this goodness, but I am trying to hold back!

This question is sure to get me in trouble in the long run, but what's the most indulgent yumminess you have run across? Now I need ideas for lunch!

What can I do next?

When I was little, my Gramma used to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to my hot chocolate to cool it down. I still can't drink hot chocolate without ice cream. :)

Thanks for reminding me of that! :)

International Delight creamer has a limited edition flavor in the dairy case. "Almond Joy."

Oh. Em. Gee. It's amazing. I made myself an iced coffee with it this morning and it was FABULOUS!

You've made an at home cafe mocha. Try adding a scoop of ice cream to your morning java. Does a mother good. :)

As for other indulgences -
Try speading cream cheese frosting (the carrot cake sort) on your morning waffle/ bagel.
bacon on everything (not to be used sparingly)
Double boil and melt chocolate, add coarse sugar, use as a facial scrub, feel free to take a taste.

Good luck to you and yours.

Ditto like you, I like cream and sugar in coffee. By mistake, I one day picked up whipping cream instead of my reg half and half and added to coffee. I realised the goof up immediately, and added caramel sauce instead of sugar.

It was Slurpelicious! :)

I assumed you found whiskey in there. But, I guess chocolate and whipped cream would be pretty good too.

I took a cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines. Normally I try something different every night to widen my experiences and point of view.

I tried their "Chocolate Melting Cake" the second night. I've had it every night I've sailed with Carnival since. Its so addicting. I even chose Carnival over another cruise line because of their "Chocolate Melting Cake". (Both cruise lines visited the same ports.) I may order a second dessert to try something that looks interesting, but I still get the "Chocolate Melting Cake".

For something simple you can do at home . . . I love this if I've had a hard day and need a mixed drink . . . I have a scoop of rich chocolate ice cream in my root beer.

Good luck to you and yours.

This is why Starbucks is so popular, it's the coffee "monstrosities", as my husband calls them.

i was out of cream one morning (and my coffee must be sweet and creamy, i'm just like you) and in desperation added some sweetened condensed milk.
OMGAWWWWD!
i have to make myself not do it regularly.
i'd love to do the ice cream thing but i can't stand for anything to cool down my coffee. i even heat my half-and-half in the mike for a few seconds before i put in my coffee or tea.

I LOVE vanilla ice cream in my coffee...

I should mention that I don't keep ice cream in my house. Big bummer for me and my coffee. So it's just Lite Creamer for me. :(

Sounds good!! I often use hot chocolate mixes or the stuff for chocolate milk. Hershey's chocolate syrup is good too!! Honey!! Mint candy!! The list is endless!! All yummy!!

Ok, no one else has said it but I gotta!! It's DESSERT!! If you're drinking "desert" for breakfast that would be extremely dry and painful!!
