I FINALLY CUT MY HAIR! (I posted about this before)
Anyway, I can't believe it!
It had been MONTHS and months and months!
Even my hair dresser said that.
My hair was soooooo long already.
I am so glad!
Son got a hair cut too, and my daughter.
And now they are all ready for school!
We were there for like 2.5 hours for all three of us. But it was so worth it.
So happy!
I told my kids TODAY is hair-cut day!
And my active 5 year old son, thankfully, waited so patiently the entire time, besides irking my daughter
now and then. LOL
So just a JFF respite, about if you did anything for yourself today?
Me and the kids all got our hair cut, because I figured, if I was going to get my hair cut and I have to drag them with me and wait for me, then we ALL will get a hair cut. And my kids had mop-heads too and needed a hair cut. Luckily, my hair dresser could fit us in. With another client in between ours. But we did it. And my Hair dresser gave me a tad of a discount... being it was all three of us at the same time. And it would have been a chunk of change. So that was really nice of her. She even told me I could come back later to pay her, if it was a strain for me.
So that was a nice thing too.
I accepted a job!! I've been a SAHM for 10.5 years. It feels good to be earning my own money again.
I ate ice cream out of the carton right after dinner when noone was looking. I just needed one bite.
Met a friend for dinner and designed a logo for my art business.
gave myself a manicure and turned on Iron Man 2. Tony Stark makes everything better.
Got a massage, a pedicure, AND a hair cut! Hubby was at work, I had a day off, and DD was at her summer preschool class!
I ate a piece of cake and when DD asked for some I gave her a small bite and said that it was mommy's treat. I ate the rest myself and did not share. They got root beer floats before bed but that was my treat time this afternoon.
Worked out for an hour and spent 1/2 hour doing various arm exercises. They are all rubbery-feeling. Love it.
My husband and I dropped the kids at day camp and we went to the spa and had a couples massage, hung out in the mineral pool and had lots of spa snacks.
Went to lunch with a friend . Had to take kids with me but they were well behaved. Paid the older one 5 bucks , to entertain younger one .
I cooked for myself!!!
My son is gone this week... And when he's gone I live off of cereal, cold hot dogs, and things that zap in the microwav.
I didn't actually use a plate, though.
Sadly, most days I would answer "nothing" but today I had lunch with a co-worker at a really nice restaurant. And she paid for it with her company credit card, woo hoo!! After work I went to the library, by myself, to pick up a couple of books, for ME! Later I will duck out early and selfishly spend a half hour or so to read and then hit the hay.
Snacked on Reese peanut butter minis, watching TV, lazing on the couch - while my brat was asleep. :)
Oh how I'd love to only spend 2 hours at the hair salon! My daughter spends 2-3 hours when she goes. She's mixed and whether it's braiding or a texturizer treatment, we are always in there for a long time. Thank God my boys are always well behaved there!
Yesterday I cleaned my house! We were on vacation for a week, home for a week and I had strep, and then vacation for a week again - so the house was a MESS. My kids helped and we got the house pretty decent looking. I'll tackle the bathrooms this weekend.
I also gave myself a night off of school work! YAY! I'm in the second half of my capstone course for my MBA and it's killing me!
I bought myself a giant gluten free chocolate chip cookie and it was delicious!
I bought a new dress for Friday night date night! Really didn't NEED it, but its cute and makes me feel good :-)
Took a nap while my daughter to me. Can't think of anything better.

I did for me on Saturday - I got a pedicure!!!
Went out to lunch with my BFF, haven't done that in a while, SO much fun!!!
Congrats on the haircut, I know how good THAT feels :)
I've got pumpkin seed brownies in the oven to eat while watching America's Got Talent :)
But, I should go get a trim as well, good for you!

Hmmm, what did I do for myself today? Nothing yet. When hubby gets home in a few minutes I'll give him his dinner & open some red wine. Been one of THOSE kind of days here. I hate it when prospective tenants waste my time by canceling at the last minute, AFTER I've already had a babysitter come to my home and got on the road for the 40 min trek to our rental townhome.
went to a Zumba class. Awesomw workout!!!
