My son has asthma and now he has developed eczema. He gets his on his elbows and they are white and itchy and a lot of times they spread to the size of a baseball. According to his doctor eczema and asthma go hand in hand. It is due to irritants, something is aggravating him. Usually it is nothing serious but we use "Aveeno" Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream (you can get it at Walgreens, Wal-mart, Target etc..). I would try that first give it a few days if you don't see an improvement or it gets worse at that point I would take him to the doctors.

white bumps that are itchy? do you have poison ivy or poison oak in your yard?

If not - there is something that is bothering him. Give him Benedryl and call your pediatrician to have him checked out. If you are going to take him to the doctor, do NOT give him benedryl so they can do a blood test and see what he is allergic to....if he has the antihistamine in his system, it won't come up.

GOOD LUCK!

Wet the skin down to get some moisture, then put a combination of zinc oxide cream, benedryl cream and 1% hydrocortisone cream. My dd has excema and this works really well for the breakouts and itching.

Maybe an allergy. Possibly psoriasis? A doctor needs to see him.

When younger, my son had those.. We were told they are Asthma bumps.. If not Asthma in your case, perhaps a rash for sure.
