I'd like one that has the front wheels that "turn". I'd love to find something that doesn't cost 2-3 car payments.
I really need to get the kids and I out of the house. Can't afford a gym membership, and besides, the kids can't be in anything like a "daycare" setting b/c of her compromised immune system.

Our neighborhood is where I walk and jog-it has hills, therefor the need for a triple (I already have a double-guess I could stick the baby in the underbasket (JK! :) It was scary enough trying to maneuver the double w/ 2 kids, so that's why I feel I need the swivel front wheels, more for safety than any thing else. W/ the hills, I'm afraid I might have to avoid a car before it has the chance to avoid us.
I"ve looked at craig's list-but most across the country are ISO's for a triple, not for sale. Prefer to buy locally, though-shipping would be a bugger and by the time I pay that, I could put it towards a new one that ships for free.

you can go to craigslist.com and find one there. Some are used and some people are selling them new in box. Just type in jogging on the main page under search. It will pull up anything with the word jogging in it, but they are mainly strollers. I've been looking for a double myself and like you I just can't afford too much. Good luck
IF you want a good jogging stroller, you're going to have to put out $350-400 or so minimum for a double. The ones that are much less than that - let's just say that you'll worry about your kids falling out and they probably won't last long. If you don't want to spend the extra money for the third seat, maybe you could get your 3 yr old a bike with training wheels (from Wal-mart) and let her ride while you walk/jog. Richardson BikeMart has some double strollers, several varieties. (They are bike trailers that convert into strollers.
My SIL also has a stroller she got from Target that she really likes. They are probably only online now. I think it was $160 or so. She uses it all the time and it works really well. Of course, it's only a double.

When I decided to get a jogger, I went to Target,Walmart and Babies r us websites. I looked at their reviews and found them very helpful. I seem to recall that the ones with the turning wheel dont stay on well. After much research, I bought a Schwinn. I love it. Its sturdy and will probably last two lifetimes. I also realized that you dont necessarily need a wheel that turns unless you plan on using it in a Mall or store. Out on the open trail, you pretty much "stay straight" anyway. Hope this helps you.

P.S. Another thought to keep in mind. If you buy one that is a little pricey, you can always sell it later when the kiddos cant fit into it anymore. That is my plan.
I have never seen a triple jogging stroller- only doubles! You can try albeebaby.com They have really good deals on last season's and sometimes current baby goods. I bought a peg perego light weight stoller for 100.00 when they sell for almost $300 in the store. And they are brand new from albeebaby.
I do recommend the ones that have the front turning wheel. I had a jogger that someone gave me that was stationary- it always felt like it needed a front-end alignment- every time I let go it would veer to the left and it was a pain to keep it straight. My arms hurt from steering. I went and got a jeep all terain from Babies R Us- and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
