Ideas on a Birthday Gift for a 6 Year Old Boy

My son is turning 6 next week and I haven't a clue on what to get him. The family got a WII for Christmas and I'm not going to get him a new bike until he learns to ride his old one. I'm stuck on what a 6 year old might be into.....Or what would make a cool gift that I would not normally think of....Something that your child is really into and maybe we should give a try. Thanks bunches!!

For my son's 7th birthday, we actually redecorated his room and that turned out to be a big hit.

basketball goal, soccer net and ball, glove and ball and bat, etc
v-tech or leap frog stuff
k-nex toys or legos or lincoln logs
motorized 4-wheeler or car or tractor, etc...like power wheels
nerf guns
guitar or drum set if he is into music

How about a Nerf gun? It shoots Nerf bullets. Does he have anyone else to play with? If so, buy two.....one for each of them to use.....

Leap frog is always a good choice, it's fun and allows them to learn at the same time.......plus it advances with age.....so does V-Tech......check those out......learn and play.....

Good Luck and let him go through a flyer from Toys R Us, that will give you a bunch of ideas!!
