Ideas for Crafts for All Ages

J.; crafts can be lots of fun the one craft i found that all ages enjoy are the perler beads, you can buy stuff for them pretty cheaply they are what my kids call melty beads, you have a small shaped base with little sticky uppy pegs that you put the small plastic bead on and you do this one by one till you fill your shape, and then you have an adult use a iron and with the parchment type paper you iron them and they fuse together and you can flip it onnce one side is fused and you can fuse the other side, i buy magnet stripping in a roll and put magnets on one side of it, so they can be used as magnets on a fridge or in a locker, young kids enjoy it , and so do older ones, you can find sets at walmart in the craft aisle or about any store, if you need more micheals may offer more, some sets are about 10 dolalrs but the little bucket gives you more for your moey but the beads are not separated, i keep them on hand and i have mine separated into little compartments of different colors but you can just pour them out onto a cookie sheet with sides so many hands can use them, and then you can easily store them ziploc bags, or small ccontainer, the more shapes you have the more fun you can have, either way , thats what i got for now, ahaha enjoy life and have fun, D. s

A fun thing for everyone - and appropriate for this time of year - make a flower pot for mom. Get some of the clay pots - choose size based on what you want to spend - and let the kids paint them anyway they want with craft paints. It really don't take long for the paint to dry and they can put soil in and plant seeds the same day to take home. My kids have loved doing this for years and still ask about doing it at age 13, 14.

Hello J., Next month has mothers day in it, so how about making cards for them? Get some red constuction paper, and have the older kids cut out hearts from each folded over sheet. Decorate with markers, paints, glitter, and stickers. They could even put hand prints in them. Good luck.

Maybe you could take pre-made sugar cookies and have everyone decorate them

Paper Mache! A little messy, but I know I would have just as much fun doing it as my 5 year old daughter.
