I have two kids, and the are going to a daycare. I am taking them out of the daycare and stay home with them, but I want to make su
re they keep learning. Is there someone that can help me. I need some ideas on what can I teach them, or how can I make my time more useful for the house and the kids. Please help me
Hi I am a homeschooling mom of 5 kiddos 4wks-71/2. There is an awesome book called "Slow and Steady, Get me Ready" by June R. Oberlander. It is a birth-age 4 activity book that provides a new and developmentally appropriate activity for each week of life! This is the at home equivalent of an excellent preschool program! The book runs around 25 dollars or less and you can get in on Amazon or order from Rainbow Resource Center.

When I took my daughter out of full-time daycare, I put her in a church preschool for 3 days a week. She was 3 at the time. Also, I used a book I think was called "Montessori at Home," and a website called www.familyeducation.com. It was a great resource.

There is a group called Wisdom's Way, based in DOuglasville (they are a homeschool group) that might be able to offer ideas on teaching and pre-school learning. Also a group called MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) might be able to help. There are several local churches that host the MOPS program. Also try the local public library, ask the children's department director if they know of any books on the subject - I know there are tons that offer ideas on crafts and how to incorporate "lesson" into everyday play.

Hi I., you could get some books and go over colors, numbers, and whatever you want to work on. Also on the computer if you google what your looking for they have different sites with printable work sheets and coloring pages and different ideas of learning.
I am a stay at home mom that also is a Mary Kay Consultant. I have a daughter who just turned 3 a son who is 1 1/2 and another baby boy on the way in Sept. I have been married for 2yrs and we are a military family.
A lot of homeschool programs have workbooks, flash cards, activity books and etc for all ages. I know i just ordered some stuff for my two year old cousin.
I am a stay at home mom. I have a 3 yr old son and a 7 month old daughter. I also have 2 step children. What I do is teach through playing. You might what to buy some learning toys. Also you might what to check into a mothers day out program they arent very expensive and you do not have to go every day. It is like a daycare but the times are only from like 9-2. I was browsing the internet to find something that would prepare my 4 yr old son for pre-k soon and I came across tons of sites that teaches spanish and teaches just about any age math,science, and other things with games. Just google w/e it is ur may want to do with them and you'll probably find something useful.
