I Have Had a BAD DAY!

My day started out by waking up too late and to a heart that was beating way too fast all day. I couldn't shake the racing heart. Then at 11am I watched 2 boys (ages 12 monts and 3yrs) that are NOT the easiest little people to watch. The 12 month old cried a lot and the 3 y/o spent the day doing everything that ins't supposed to be (spoon-feeding sand to my 3 y/o, snatching toys, etc.). It was only the 2nd time I'd watched them, so it was rough. Then, my 10 y/o goes off to Grandma's to spend the night, leaving me with a 7 year old to babysit without her. Fine enough, she gets along great with my 3 y/o. They begin a tickle fight, landing my baby into the coffee table and 3 hours in the E.R. waiting for stitches until 11:30pm. She was fine, just 3 stitches, but geez! This is the 4th time in the E.R. we've had in a year! Tell me that I'm not the only one that's had a day like this! I'm healing myself with whiskey right now, lol.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks ladies. Spent today in the hospital getting my heart checked out. EKG, chest xrays, etc. All is fine, my racing heart is from anxiety. I'll follow up with my doc tomorrow.

Yikes! Sounds like a reallllllllllllly awful day! I am sorry! Sending hugs and support your way.
Sounds like you need to keep on sippin that drink and take a few moments to yourself and relax awhile. Nothing wrong with having a drink, so dont listen to people who tell you it isnt the answer. Not like you just said "Hey Im getting drunk right now, just having a cool down moment with a drink.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day :)

Make sure to remember to be good to yourself every once in a while..

It will help you get through days like today.. Have your drink.. and then try to get some sleep..

Don't agree to watch those kids again. Get your racing heart checked out by a doctor. You are too young to have a serious heart condition to pamper.
Do not drown your sorrows in liquor. It does not help and can make a heart that needs help stop working.
Please if you can afford it get a membership in the Y they have babysitting so you can take an exercise class or go swimming while your child is in another class.
You need a little time a few days a week to unwind.

First of all, whiskey is not the answer. Second of all, everyone has bad days. Third, goodluck for tomorrow

HI Bethany,

It does sound like a bad day!! But I always tell myself when I am having a tough time... "it's only a day..." Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.

When you wake up you can start again fresh...Unless you have a hangover from all that whiskey Lol!!!

Wishing you a better day!

Sounds like a typical day in my house! LOL! Maybe I should add that whiskey to my list of things to do at night!

Sorry about the rough day, I completely relate! After those kinds of days, I love a strong drink, a good book or magazine, and a bubble bath; the combo works wonders :)
