I have 2 amazing daughters and I would never trade them, but the next baby I would really like to have a little boy! I would like to stop after I have a baby boy bc frankly me and my husband think 3 kids is enough. I want a baby boy so badly (I would love a baby girl to, but I really want to have a boy!) I was wanting any advice on how to have a baby boy! We are not planning on trying till Jan, but I want to find out everything I can! Any ideas on how to have a little boy would be very much apericiated! Also, I won't be disappointed if I have another daughter, I would just like a little boy after 2 sweet little girls =)
So I seen a few things I should talk about real quick lol! Before you judge I am very young, but me and my husband have been together 5 years and are very happy! We want to have our kids young so when were older we can do the things we missed out on (not complaining I love my baby girls and would do it all over again lol) I am 19 and we are thinking about trying when our youngest is like 18 months! I am going to be happy with another girl or a boy! I just love children! I was just wanting to try everything I could to give me a chance at having a little boy! My girls are my life and I would never trade them! Also I seen the adoprion post and we are actually talking about adopting once all our kids are in preschool... So everyone knows are oldest might have been a shock, but its bc my husbands doc told him they didnt think he could ever have kids and ironicly I got pregnant on BC. Both my girls were supposed to be boys according to the chinese calander and I debunked most old wives tales lol! Again I will be happy with what ever God gives me I just wanted to up my chances for a boy lol!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you to everyone who answered! I will try some of this! However, I am not upset I had two girls, nor would I be upset if I had another! I love little girls, but I just always wanted a little boy bc I have helped raise my brothers and nephews and just wanted a boy of my own! When you help everyone else raise their little boys you tend to want one of your own lol! Thanks again everyone!

HA! You can have one of mine.

:) that was a joke.

But if there are any girl recipes floating around out there please pass them this way!

....I have no idea what I did to get boys but I really liked some of the other posts on here. I'd look into what the other ladies suggested - they sound very interesting.

Good luck!!

Hi A.! Try reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler (sp?). There is a chapter in the book explaining when to have sex within your ovulation period to have either a boy or a girl. Of course, the method isn't 100% effective.......but it's great reading just the same!

My step-sister swears by this. She said it worked for her, and all but one of her friends. I, too, have 2 little girls, and I tried her method for a little boy, and now have a 15 month old little man! She says the woman's environment can determine a lot in whether you have a boy or a girl. I don't like to douche, but I did when I wanted to have this little boy. To have a little boy, you need a more Akaline environment. To do this, you need to use a baking soda based douche. I couldn't find any of these in the store. So I had to get a regular douche, empty it's contents, and put in up to a table spoon of baking soda into the bottle, along with water, and douche. I did this just about every month, after my cycle, since my younger girl was born. This way, when we were ready to have another baby, my chances of having a boy were greatly increased. My step sister did this with all 4 of her kids, and they all turned out the gender she wished for. All of these other posts are things that I have read up on, through internet research, as well. Good luck! God will give you what is perfect for your family.

adopt! if its a boy your really trying for then adopt one. that way its sure to be a boy. other than that science thinks that its the male that determines the sex of the baby. oh also prayer. my dad really wanted a little girl after two boys and prayed and ta da im a girl! good luck with your pregnancy and family.

It is a proven fact that the male chromosome is a 'faster swimmer' if you will, but there are fewer of them. If you have sex less frequently, the male chrom will accumulate and you have a better chance of getting your boy when you do try to get pregnant. Good luck!

I've heard it depends on if you are intimate with your husband at the first part of your ovulation (ie. a day ahead of it) or during and towards the end. Beginning for boys and end for girls.

Every pregnancy has a 50/50 chance of either gender, regardless of how many boys or girls you already have. If you're open to adoption, that's one way to "guarantee" the gender because you can tell the agency your preferences.

You don't say what your age is but that can also be a factor. The older you get, the more likely you are to have girls. (Has something to do with the egg age- can't remember exactly) But I am talking late 30s or early 40s , so if you aren't there, I don't think it will be a factor. I have many, many friends that had babies in their forties (and I did, also) and all of those babies have been girls.

Whatever you do, make sure you don't ever let your girls hear you tell people that you want a boy. They may feel that they are not meeting your needs. Having children should never be about meeting our needs.

Sounds like you are up for either a boy or girl, so that's good. My husband and I followed the Shettles Method (How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby) to get two boys and we got...two boys! I think his method is talked about by some of the other responses, but this way you'd have something to reference if you needed it. Good luck! The best part is that God will give you what you need for your family, so you're blessed either way!

I followed the advice on this web site: http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/pregnancy/pregnancy_planne... You put the date of your LMP, length of your cycle, and your desired gender. It will give you tips regarding timing, diet, etc., to get the gender that you want. Worked for me both times. Got my boy first and then my girl. :)
