How Can I Reply When U Answer My ?'S

As everyone else has already said, the only way to respond to someone's post directly is to send a PM. If you want to post something publicly, the only way to do that is by updating your original post or under "What's Happening".

Like Success mentioned, I think being able to reply directly to a post would be great. The mods don't seem to think so. It would be wonderful if they paid more attention & maybe even posted something themselves explaining their reasons for not wanting a change. I've asked & all I ever get is some run around about Mamapedia being a place where Moms can get advice & recommendations from other moms. The format will not change. The powers that be don't want it-regardless of what the members want.

To reply directly to someone who answered, you need to send them a message (private message). To add something to your question in response to their answer (that all can see), you want to edit your question.

Later, you can update your post in the "So What Happened" box.

You can either send a message via the inbox by clicking on write so and so a private message. Or you can just edit your answer by clicking on your question and then the tell everyone what happened link. I usually hate message boards but mamapedia is the exception for me.

You can either click on their name and click on send a private message (like an email) or you can use the "So what happened" section to update.

Destiny, I think that's the one thing that's a little wonky about Mamapedia. Unless you use So What Happened or go back in and edit your initial post, there's no way to reply to everyone as questions are asked. Maybe the webmasters are paying attention and will enhance functionality to allow you to add other comments or reply to all somehow.

Click on the persons name that you want to respond to and you can send them a private message, other than that it's best to just write it into the "what happened" box if you want everyone to see it. Dont feel that you have to respond to everyone in THAT box, best to just respond privately, wait for all of your answers to come in AND THEN tell us "what happened".
