Hey, you guys are always such a big help, I hope you can send me in the right direction. I am having a polka dot themed party for my 3 yr old daughter next Sat!! Nothing like last minute plans..I can't find polks dot table cloths or big polks dot plastic serving bowls, balloons or baskets. If you see any or know where I can find anything cute for a birthday party that is polks dot, PLEASE let me know. Our polka dot colors are light pink, hot pink, orange, and yellow. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Cute idea! Happy Birthday to your little one and congratulations on the baby. I think Target has something you could use. In their party section I recently saw a set that has polka dots, I think in your colors but the plates and table cloth also have stripes along the edge. Another thought would be to just get big serving bowls in each of the colors since they would already be round they could be considered big polka dots:). Wal-mart usually has large plastic bowls in different colors. Another idea for the table cloth would be to buy a white table cloth then check the office supply section of wal-mart and find those colored dots I think people sometimes use to label garage sale stuff and stick them on the table cloth. Hope this helps. Have Fun!

A fabric store will have some inexpensive polka dot fabric. You can also make dots with colored felt and hot glue or even use masking tape to stick on things. 3M dots come in all kinds of colors now. You might find a place to use those somewhere to decorate things. Have fun!

The bowls are a great idea since they are already round and would be keeping in the theme. You could usually find those at a dollar store or maybe Walmart may have some on clearance.

For the decorations..balloons are already round. For my daughter's bday, I used colored construction paper, wrapping paper(matched the decor) and used a circle template(as large as you want it) to make decorations to hang from the ceiling and put on top of the table cloth and the circles could be used a placemats as well as table top decor.

Another option to the polka dot table cloth is find a solid color in your theme and use construction paper and a hole punch to punch out dots and sprinkle them along the table.

Don't forget your polka dot cake or cupcakes. Just think circular!

If you need help with a cake or more ideas just let me know. I enjoy doing parties and creating custom cakes.

Target also had some cute plastic ones on sale in the $1 area a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if they are still there though.
