Help! Leaking Nighttime Diapers!!!

Hello Moms,
My son has been waking up with accidents in the morning...regularly wetting his PJs & bedsheets. He's been potty training, but it's been slow. I've been using Huggies Overnights in size 6 (was very effective up until now)...but they don't make it in any bigger sizes, so going the next size up isn't an option anymore. Any ideas or suggestions?

I had the same problem with both my boys- try the Goodnights. They work much better for that situation.

My first suggestion to you is to check his diaper when you go to bed. Often the leaking is caused by multiple wettings at night. If he's already wet when you go to bed, you need to do a quickie diaper change. You can also try diaper doublers or cloth diapers.

hi, our 3y/o has been slow to potty train and drinks lots of water and fruitables...we purchased Huggies Overnights, but they did not work. Then my husband got "Underjams" by Pampers, and it has worked wonders! No leakage!

Hi B.
Although you are young enough to be my daughter, I can tell you that my mother told me when I was having a situation with my little one, to get him up when we went to bed and let him go, then lay him down and say "good night" I was timid thinking he would wake up, but he didn't and neither did any of the other 4 and it saved alot of mess.
Maybe some old fashion wisdom will help you as well.

perhaps get those plastic covers that go over the swimming diapers and have him sleep on top of the changing table pads that you used when he was an infant. I am in the same stage as you guys - thankfully no overnight accidents for us yet.

try reducing the amount of fluids your little one takes in after dinner time. My son was having a similar problem and we cut him off after 6 and it has helped with the wetting through.

I had the same problem with my daughter. I had to put her in Goodnights at night. Good Luck

We are having the same problem. If he is not going to wet everything each night, then I have to go in and change him half way through the night! Good luck!

GoodNites, also by huggies, are the next larger size. They are more like underwear. My boys went into them once they outgrew (or, out-peed) the size 6 diapers.
