Hay Rides, Pumpkin Patches Close to Tampa,FL

Friends,
I would like to take my kids to a Pumpkin Patch and/or a hay ride .. something so we can feel the change in the season (LOL....) -- does anyone know of a great place/farm to go? If there is a bit of spooky fun, thatis OK -- but not really scary. My kids are 9,6 and 6. I am looking within the 40 to 50 miles (an hour drive) from Tampa.

Thanks
S.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

All,

I am going to Hunsader farms in Bradenton. Thanks .. since many of you suggested the same place. Their flyer looks good and I am sure kids will have fun. I am also planning to go to Hillsborough River state park one evening for camp fire and tram ride, so that will get us in the FALL feeling ... Thank you so very much. I appreciate each and every one of you who responded and gave me suggestions. Take care my friends.

I would high;y recommend taking them to Hunsader Farms in Bradenton. Their website is www.HunsaderFarms.com Every year they have a big celebration with hayrides, a pumpkin patch, crafts, kids games, etc. We have the best time. It's so much fun. It's also very reasonably priced. Hope you enjoy!

Hundsader Farms Pumpkin Festival is amazing! They are in Bradenton, about 45 minute drive. You can go to their website, I think is is just hundsaderfarms.com. They have a huge corn maze, hay rides, train rides, scarecrows, games for the kids, etc.It is the weekend of 10/18 and 10/25.

Lowry Park Zoo has something called "Zoo Boo" which my family and I love. It's in Tampa. Not too scary and a lot fun!

Try Hunsader Farms in Bradenton. They have lots going on there--pumpkin patch, hay ride, corn maze, entertainment, kiddie area.

Hunsader Farms in Bradenton I've heard wonderful things about. Check out their website at www.hunsaderfarms.com and click on Pumpkin Festival for more information.

hi,
huntsaters farm in bradenton is a goood place. it has hay rides, music, petting zoo, arts and crafts, country stores, etc. your kids will really enjoy it. it's off exit 217 ( i think) the exit for bradenton. you can take the bradenton/ st. rd. 64 exit or the one after (which i think is the 217). go east on either exit and you will see signs for it . the first exit it will be a right turn, the 2nd exit will be a left turn. it's real easy.
have fun. it also has lots of pumpkins!

there is always a neat one at Hundsader Farms in Bradenton. I have the name close, if not the same. They should have a website, I just don't have a moment to go search for it. They have gotten more costly over the years, but is a great full day if you like. Also, Boyd Hill Nature Park in St Pete has an October Harvest where they have a small hayride and few activities. It isn't as spectacular as the Farms one, but it is FREE! So check it out... It is as the Pioneer Settlement off of 31st Street in ST Pete. It is the 18th from 10-4, I believe. But give them a call or check out the Boyd Hill Nature Park website. It is a hidden treasure in South St Pete.
Have fun!

Hi there. Hunsader farms in Bradenton is really nice. Also, I just saw an ad for a farm/grove off Fruitville Road in Sarasota. I hope this helps.
