Yes!! You need a doctor's appointment!!!!! Even if other people's experience is similar there could be a whole host of reasons, including miscarriage, why this is happening to you. Blood = DOCTOR!! Not website help.

Is it at all possible that you could be pregnant & mistake spotting/attachment for a period??? That's happened to me before & turned out that I was pregnant. You might want to take a home pregnancy test to put your mind at ease but absolutely call your doctor. As well, recently I started having a change in my cycle & my doctor was able to take some blood test to check my FSH levels for infertility. You may want to inquire about that even though you're relatively young...
Best of luck to you.

anytime you have odd periods call the gyno. you can talk to the nurse and tell her what is going on. if its not a new birth controll pill or something to that effect they need to make an appointment to get to the bottom of it all.

Could be lots of things. Make an appointment so you can rest your mind. As a doctor once told me, "As we mature, our bodies change." I had just turned 30. It made me feel like I was 70...

Could you be pregnant?

I'd definitely go see your Gyn. It could possibly be that you're "spotting" during a pregnancy (uterine/tubal) or maybe Uterine Fibroids. Your symptoms are almost identical to mines when my fibroids "act up" twice a year. The last time that happened, my period lasted for 3 months, because I didn't go to GYN. Because you're fairly young, the doc may not think fibroids, but mention it. You may have to have a pelvic exam, sonogram, or ultrasound. Undiagnosed Fibroids can grow to be very large!

I would definitly see your Dr. If you are pretty regular and something changes and you think there is an issue see your Doctor. You know your body better than anyone! Good luck!
I was regular for 25 years and had an irregular period one month and went to the doctor. Nothing life threatening but a serious issue reguiring surgery and was able to get it taken care of fairly easily because I did something early.

My guess is you might have had a cyst - check with DR.
