Okay, I have been suffering from what seems to be migraines for little over a week. I have an appointment with the neurologist tomorrow. Yesterday morning I had blood in my tissue when I went to the bathroom. I didn't think too much of it because me and my husband have been hot and heavy all weekend. I tell my friends my symptoms, and they think that I may be pregnant. But here is the thing. I am not nauseous, no wierd cravings, I had my period two weeks ago. But now I am bleeding as if I am on my period. I am on the pill and I am consistent with it. So, I am a little confused, scared, and uneasy. I do not have any of the normal signs of pregnancy other than the bleeding and of course I was reading about implantation bleeding. Has anyone experienced that?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Okay, so Finally I got to see a GYN yesterday. I went to the ER on Wednesday because I was just scared of all the bleeding and then not being able to see a doctor made me more anxious. The ER doc said that I wasn't pregnant according to the blood test and that the bleeding was normal.................whatever. The GYN said that my hormone levels may be off which is causing the bleeding. My mom had thyroid issues so that may be a reason too. She said too that my cervix seemed a little large to not be pregnant. She said it feels about 6 weeks so she ordered me an ultrasound. I am doing that first thing on Monday.

So thanks for the advice and the prayers. I really appreciate it. Continue to pray that everything is okay either way, but I am still bleeding as of today, so I am trying to take it easy and calm down too.

You're probably not pregnant - but you can get a test and do it at home. See a doctor - you should not be having regular menstrual bleeding 2 weeks out from your last period and you're too young for menopause. If things have been "hot and heavy" recently, you could see some blood, but definitely not like a regular period. It's nothing to panic over, but you really do need to see your GYN.

Good luck!

You could be pregnant and you could be experiencing a spontaneous miscarriage due to baby not implanting well. I had this before and the gyneocologist told me i was pregnant but when they monitored my hcg hormone count they realised that it was dropping which meant that i had just miscaaried. Be careful it could be signs of fibroids in your stomach. I think a gyneocologist will give you the best knowledge after checkup. Good luck. S.T.

I was never nauseous in my pregnancy, and I didn't get the cravings until well into my 2nd trimester. You could be pregnant; just get a pregnancy kit over the counter until you can schedule a test with your doctor. I knew someone with a tubal pregnancy and bled like a heavy period for almost two weeks before going to the doctor. I also have a friend who got pregnant on the pill. Don't wait. Tell your doctor your symptoms ASAP.

You could be pregnant but if you aren't I wouldn't worry too much until I went to the doctor. Take a pregnancy test to rule it out, or not, and if that isn't the case then have a pap done, and explain your symptoms to your doctor. I have had irregular bleeding for about 2 months now. I'll bleed about every 2 weeks, and it's absolutely aggravating but I've started eating differently, working out, and stressing over a recent seperation. Of course now my husband is back home but anyway I wanted to point out my irregularities in my periods. I am also on the pill and have been for a long time. I believe that over time it needs to be changed. Hope this helps some.God bless!

If you're on the pill consistently, you not very likely pregnant since it's greater than 95% effective when taken correctly. You could be bleeding from egg release which happens in the middle of your cycle, but it's usually just spotting. But why don't you go grab an at home pregnancy test to check. You may need an gyn appt to reeval your pill, especially with the migraines.

Hi D.,

I understand you being scared but there's no need to be. Whatever is happening is happening and you just need to find out what it is. Make an appointment with your OB/GYN just to be on the safe side. I wasn't nauseous or having cravings when I miscarried and I did bleed like I was having a period. The pill will also mess up your system, so symptoms can be altered. It may also be causing your migraines. Go to http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2000/1...

Like I said, don't worry until you have something to worry about but read the articles in the link I sent you. The side effects of the pill become more dangerous as you get older also.

God bless and let us know!

M.

I just wanted to let you know that the Dollar Tree sells pregnancy tests for $1.00. You may know this, but, if you take a test, you won't get a false positive. You may get a false negative, but not a false positive. The chiropractor really helped me with my migraines. Best wishes

To be honest it doesn't really sounds of definate signs of being pregnant.I'm not saying that you can't get pregnant on the pill but some people tend to think that just b/c your on the pill the guy doesn't have to safeguard against getting pregnant. My friend got pregnant twice on the pill, so it is very possible.I have had implantation bleeding and it's not as much blood as you would think it might be or the misconception you get from reading the site (been there done that). When I got pregnant with my second it was my husbands birthday when the act happen,10 days later I saw just a very small hint of blood when going to the bathroom once.I took a PT and naturally I was...found out on Halloween as a matter of fact. But I expected alot more blood when I read up on implantion bleeding. And friends always seem to jump right on the pregnancy wagon when it comes to situations like yours.I think we all do it at some point.Either way, only way to know for sure is to do the test.Gl to you.
