Hair Stylist in Hudson, OH

I recently moved to Hudson, and I have been 'commuting' to my hair stylist. You know how it is, though -- I'm nervous to try someone new. My stylist is going on maternity leave soon, though, so maybe this is my opportunity to be brave. Any recommendations for a good stylist at a nice salon? I'm 40ish with short/medium hair, and I usually have some version of a 'bob' -- whatever the current trend is. Oh yea - and they need to be good with hair color too. I prefer to stay in the $65 - $75 range for a cut & color. Thanks!

I love Turning Point in Stow. It is on route 91 just south of the Hudson line about 1/2 mile to a mile. I just get a cut so I don't know their prices for a color but you can always call. Everyone there is very nice. I was in a similar situation "commuting" to my former stylist and although I miss her I am SO glad I went to Turning Point.

I get my hair done in Hudson at Hair Innovations. They are awesome! I go to Cindy ... but have gone to Linda and they are great too! The best hair color I've ever gotten and it's a great, relaxing atmosphere!

Hi J.,
Although I live in Auburn I see a woman in Twinsburg. I don't know if that's too far from Hudson. She works at Judy's Place (right in the center of town). Her name is Leslie & is in that price range for cut & color. I have been going to her for nearly 15 years, needless to say I LOVE her! I've even traveled the 30 + minutes to Macedonia when she was there.
Good luck!

I have found a real gem in a very nice salon in Richfield...just down the street on Rt. 303. The Salon is Lee Marie Salon, 4676 W. Streetsboro Rd., Richfield, 44286. Ask for Abbie Brown. I am 50ish, like the same type cut, highlight my hair. She is the best stylist I have ever gone to in this area. The phone is ###-###-####. She is also in your price range. Tell her L. Palmer sent you! I know you will like her. All the best, L.

Hi J.,

I get the most wonderful cut at Debora Salon in Bainbridge - Tanglewood shopping plaza - across from Breezewood Garden Center. ###-###-####. Melissa has been doing my hair for 6 years, and I always get lots of compliments - I also have a bob cut. In fact I have an appointment today! I know how scary it is to go to someone new. I have very thick, straight hair, so it's hard to find someone who can deal with that and make it look great! The cut is around $45, but so well worth it.

Good luck with your search. L. L.
