Hair Stylist Referral for Wavy/Curly Hair - Bothell, Kirkland, Woodinville,
Hi -
I'm looking for recommendations for a hair stylist who knows how to work with wavy/curly hair. Many of them think they do, but they don't - and you know when you get home and your hair is HUGE and all crazy. Anyway, I have a stylist I like but she is in Seattle and I'm just having trouble finding time to get down there. I need a good stylist who is closer to home, on the Eastside - Bellevue, Bothell, Kirkland, Woodinville. I've had plenty of bad or okay haircuts. I'm really looking for someone who knows their stuff with thick, wavy, crazy hair. And I don't want to pay crazy amounts for it either, but could be convinced if the hair cut is really that great!
Thanks for any tips!

Hi there,
I have curly hair and have gone to Chanel at the Redmond Gene Juarez for years. I really like her and she gets my hair. Unfortunately she is very expensive, but I'm afraid to branch out :) Actually I also went to Mandi once at the same place and she was also excellent. My question for YOU: who do you see in Seattle? I live in Seattle and would love to stop driving all the way to Redmond! Thanks! T.

My daughter also has super curly hair and I take her to see Cindy at Hair Designers in Bothell.

HI,
I have thick, wavy, curly hair and I know the battle you're fighting. I hate poofy hair! I found that the best kind of cut was one where the back was cut in sort of a reverse bob. It has worked well for me. The stylist I use who does a great job and is very good for the price is Erika at Erika's hair design in woodinville.

I too have wavy, curly hair. I go to Zo Salon on Market Street and I see Deanna. Their number is ###-###-####. Deanna is great - good at shaping. Really listens and she has curly hair too although sometimes she straightens it.

I also have curly/wavy hair and went to Dana at The Barber Shoppe in Juanita. It's cheap and cheerful and she did a nice job and I felt like she understood my hair because she also has curly hair and actually wears it curly!
