I will have to work Valentines weekend along with a double header Basketball game with the kids, but am needing a great Date restaurant for my hubby and I after the VDay rush. We love Kirby's, Truluck's and all the norm in the NRH-Southlake area but would love to find something new with a little bit of romance too. I am not wanting to drive mroe than 30 minutes or so from our home. Thanks for your help
I just went to Bob's Steak and Chop House in Grapevine (they have one in Dallas and San Fransisco too) for my anniversary. Sounds like you may already be familiar with it but it was really nice and the food was great.
The Melting Pot -
It makes for a very interactive date. Fondue allows you to talk while your food is cooking and it tastes great! The atmosphere is dim and romantic. They also have great drinks... :)

I second the Melting Pot idea! We actually go there when we are needing some us time because like the other mom said it gives you some talking time while your food is cooking! Its romantic!
They just opened an Eddie V's in downtown Fort Worth. I have only eaten at the Austin locations and the restaurant is fabulous! It is a steak and seafood restaurant with a great atmosphere. I can't wait to try it out here!
