Good Shampoo/Conditioner for Colored/dry/damaged Hair?

My hair has been super dry lately, ick, it feels so unhealthy. I got it trimmed and re-colored and it feels just as dry! I have so much more breakage than I used to - any recommendations for shampoo/conditioner to help? I have super fine hair, too so don't want it totally weighed down.

What can I do next?

L'Oreal Ever Creme. It's amazing. They have it in normal to dry and then dry to very dry. You should get dry to very dry in both shampoo and conditioner. It's very intensive but also lightweight, and it's gentle and vegan to boot. I hope they never stop making it because I've never used anything so amazing.

I use Biolage Matrix hydrating shampoo and contidioning balm - LOVE it. I am miserable if I run out, so I normally buy new when I open my last bottle. I buy the liters at JCP for $26 for both, and they last me up to 2 months.

My mom uses Infusium to condition her fine hair.

I use Dove moisurizing shampoo and conditioner on me and DD. Let it soak in the conditioner if your hair is really dry.

John Frieda full repair shampoo and conditioner, its in a red tube. After the shower use Its a 10 leave in conditioner, its in a dark blue bottle. the Its a 10 works great, is not heavy and lasts me and my daughter about 5 months for the large bottle so even though its pricey, it is SOOOO worth it. It works great on my daughters tangled hair too. =)

I have fine hair and have it colored as well. My hair person suggested the following which has been working so far.....
1. shampoo - Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Shampoo
2. conditioner - Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Conditioner
3. for styling - Joico K-PAK - Color Therapy Restorative Styling Oil

For more info, website here....http://www.joico.com/products/haircare/k-pak-color-therapy

I purchase these at Ulta when they are on sale and when I have a coupon.

And you are in CO...very dry up there. Good luck! A.

Biolage Matrix. My hair is dry and I live in a dry climate, a double whammy. The Biolage shampoo and especially the conditioner seem to make my hair feel softer and I use the serum to smooth down the frizziness of the dry, fried hairs.

nature's gate for colored hair. i don't color my hair - this is the one that smelled the best to my 8 year old.
it's not full of unsafe chemicals (i.e., no parabens or pegs).
the conditioner does a great job for both me and my 8 year old.
smells fabulous too.

Might try a different salon - see what's in the color... might be too damaging. I had highlights, and finally just went back to brown (despite the fact that it's harder to color the grey!) as it's not as damaging as lifting color - cut off a ton, and did a protien spray (2x per week). Made all the difference. Good luck!
