We are moving to the San Antonio area here in the near future and need to find a place to live. We are coming from Iowa and are planning on taking a trip here within the next month to look for houses. Does anyone know of a good relator in the area? We are looking for something on the outskirts of the area with a few acres. Also I've heard we want to stay north and west? any in put on nice areas/good schools would be appreciated too! :) I have 3 yr old daughter who will start kindergarden in Fall 2010.

Here's another recommendation for a good realtor: Tricia Emmons, Keller Williams. Ph. ###-###-####. She knows the north central and far north area of san antonio. GREAT lady. has 3 kids herself and knows ALOT about kid stuff in the area. also, if i recall, she can get you a san antonio welcome gift for people who have moved here. there was great stuff in it like doctor listings, home decor stuff, maps, info, etc. Good Luck!
Please email or call my friend Gina Graham - her kids go to school with mine and she's a great person. She gives good advice on housing and has helped quite a few of our neighbors sell/buy property. Her husband Adam also does financing, so you might get an all-in-one service if you need it.
We live in the NW area, but she's knowledgeable about many areas. I'll be moving to the East side of town next year (work-related) and have been tapping her brain about where to look first. :)
