I took my daughter to the piercing pagoda in the mall. They would pierce her ears at 8 wks after she had her shots; most places wanted me to weight until she was 10wks.

A little about me:
I am a first time mom to a wonderful 10 month old girl. Married for a little over 2yrs.

I took my 2 month old to Dr. Werther in Gilbert to get her ears pierced. He used numbing cream & it was great! He is at Val Vista & Baseline.

Hey C.,

You can take her to an ear doctor..that's best..because at the malls..it's just a bunch of teen girls that I really would not trust with my little ones..but I do have friends who have taken their children there..one had a bad experience because the holes in her daughter ears were uneven..I truly would take her to an ear doctor..goodluck

BTW..Welcome to Chandler.. Let's chat!

C.,
I took my daughter to Merle Norman in the mall. It is older women (versus teenagers) that usually work there that are very particular and VERY sterile. My daughter put her finger to her ear to look and they had to start over and resterilze everything. They were great. Call ahead to make sure 2 people are there to do it at the same time.

Also I have heard that alot of doctor's offices are starting to offer this as well.
Hope that helps,
S.

Hi C.,
My neighbor has a little baby girl and just took her to her pediatrician to have her ears pierced. She has had no problems whatsoever and they look so cute!
Good luck.

I took my daughter to Claire's at the mall and they did a great job. It's been 5 months since I had them done, with no negative side effects or infections. It was around $25 or $30 I believe, including earrings and the antiseptic solution. I just read the responses below, and I wish they had numbed my daughter's ears. If I had known a doctor would numb them, I would have opted for that! They are adorable, but I feel guilty for making the choice for her before she's old enough to decide. That goes against my personal philosophy of free choice, but I just wanted them so bad because they're so dang cute!

My daughters Dr. did it for us. It wasnt as scarey as some random teenager at the mall! And he numbs thier ears. She was about four months and didnt even know it had happened. He is also the best Dr. in the world (I think) Info:
