Hello G.,

have you considered taking natural supplements to help your gallbladder? that may help. do you take digestives enzymes to help you gallbladder? research hatural remedies to help you. of course keep talking w/ your doctors. parsley is good for the gallbladder. and just last week someone told me that hydreangea helps dissolve stones (gallbladder and kidney). Last week I thought I had gallbladder stones and I was reading how so many people have issues after surgery. It may me determine to do whatever I could to keep my gallbladder. after surgery You still WONT be able to eat fatty foods. So, why not try help your gallbladder heal/get rid of stones. Also, watch the milk. it may give you disconfort too.
good luck!

The only cure for gallstones is to have the gallbladder removed unfortunately. Having it out before it gets really bad is bound to be less expensive than waiting. Until you have that done, you can try to avoid attacks by eating low fat foods (the gallbladder is used for digesting fatty foods).

I had looked at the bill and it was over 1400 cuz I stayed a couple of nights cuz they found other complications but I only paid 30 dollars cuz I was on medicaid from being pregnant then. I think they have medicaid for women I'm not sure. You can try and look or just get a job at a hospital they have good benefits and will help alot

I had mine out a couple of years ago as my shut down completely - talk about pain! It lasted for 12 hours each attack I had. Ended up in the ER several times before they realized it was my Gall Bladder. If money is an issue then do try other options. You have to stay away from Fatty and high protein foods. Research what the Gall bladder actually does for body. That will help you in eliminating food that trigger the pain. BUT if that does not work, then you need to have it taken care of immediately. Other wise you will end up in an emergency situation. The surgery is an outpatient surgery and only a couple of days of recovery. If it taken care in a non-emergency situation, 3 little cuts. I recommend you research your surgeon though!

Hi,
your going to think this is crazy but you need to eat lemons, before i could afford to have my gallbladder out i had attacks everyday and i eat lemons and it seemed to help i had 25 stones in mine and to this day i still use lemons, cutting back on fatty foods also, hope all works out for you, also since you have a small child you should be able to get help from the state your in.
