Fertility Drugs - Midland,PA

I was wondering if anyone knew how much, roughly, clomid would run us. The Dr. has talked about us trying that next, but our insurance doesn't cover any prescriptions. We want to take that next step but was curious about the cost. Thanks, D.

What can I do next?

D.,

I'm not sure how much clomid is but I went through three treatments with it and it didn't work too well on me. I then had to move on to the shots and that worked. Either way, the clomid would've been expensive but our insurance paid for it and all we had to do was pay a co-pay for it which was $9. The shots would cost about $6,000 or more but our insurance covered most of that too, thank goodness. I got pregnant with the shots but then I miscarried. Good luck and hang in there, it's tough. Where are you going to the doctor's at? I'm curious because I'm looking for a new fertility doctor.

Thanks and good luck!

Shop around at the small drug stores. I found prices were much
higher at the Rite Aid and other places. I found it cheapest in a small town drugstore it was almost 1/2 the price. Shop around.

Walmart tends to be the cheapest. Call around and ask the pharmacies. Good Luck on the Clomid, I got pregnant on my third month after 5years of TTC and am now expecting my little boy in December.

I have used it but had insurance coverage. My co-pay was $10. My re said that there were places that you could contact(forget the names now) that could help you off set some of the costs of the meds so maybe ask your doc about it. Also call around to different pharmacys as they may have cheaper prices at defferent ones. Good luck!
