My husband's office party is at this fancy hotel. Since he is the one that booked the party, we get to stay in a suite for free!! I love the perks of his job sometimes.

One of his friends from his office, gave him two tickets to a Burlesque show the same night, just later in the evening(we tend to split out of the party around ten, so we can enjoy the City without the kids).

I am super excited. Have you ever seen one? What should I expect?? Are the tasteful or raunchy?

I am super excited about the party now! I was excited to have the night off...and LOVE feeling like a fancy Princess...This is just the icing on my cake!!

What can I do next?

Thank You ladies!! I kinda felt pervie asking even:) I cannot wait. I think I may even dress nicely.....no combat boots, cold weather gear W/ patches and skinny jeans, for me, after the party...I may stay a little fancy:)Lord....I may wear the combat boots with my fancy dress....I can not walk in heels for more then an hour or I die for a week, trying to walk like a human!

My husband and I went to one in Vegas and like some have mentioned it had the "seedy" feel without being nasty. The crazy part, I laughed more than anything....maybe it was because they tried to weave in a storyline but either way I was entertained.

I would love to go see a classier one so maybe one day. Have a wonderful time!

Yes, it was different a little risque, a little funny, a little tasteful, a little raunchy, and super fun. It felt a little bit seedy without being nasty. But the venue had no seating really, which was kind of lame. I mean had we done our homework we could have paid for VIP seating which would have been well worth the price.

I think it depends on the show. Some can get raunchy. My youngest sister does a lot of burlesque shows here in the US so they keep their tops on. I live in another state so I haven't been able to go. My mom has and she liked it.

I went to one in Vegas with my hubby. It was cool, kind of a mix of Broadway entertainment (dancing and singing) with a hint of sexy. There was some nudity but it was tasteful with the way the lighting was and the props. Go in with an open mind and enjoy!

They are meant to be seedy and raunchy, but in a funny way! I've been to one in Seattle and it was great! I'd go again in a heart-beat! My hubby and I still use one liners from that show to crack ourselves up. Have a GREAT time!
