Hey moms,

I am staying with my in-laws in Flower Mound until our house is ready. What activities are there for kiddos out here? My boys are 6 mos and 20 mos. and being at home is making us all crazy.
Thanks in advance.

Check out the local websites www.cityoflewisville.com www.flower-mound.com for local library times

Excite Gym at Parker Sqaure www.excitegymandcheer.com has drop in play also, it is usually not very crowded.

Kidz Muze over in Coppell isn't too far from there. There's also Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville that has a play area for the older child. My son is the same age and likes to play there. I have heard the Flower Mound library has a good toddler story time also.

There is Kidzmuze in Coppell which is about 5-10 minutes away. Also, check out what your local library has going on for toddlers and babies. Ours has a Baby & Me class and also Toddler Tuesdays. Those are a good 45 minutes. Good luck on the cabin fever!

Check out pump it up in Plano http://www.pumpitupparty.com/. I have not been to the one in Plano yet but I think it is more for Toddlers. They are used mainly for B-day partys but on Mon afternoon and Friday morn you can go for free play. It is $6. My 18 month old loves it.

Kids Muze could be a great thing for you! if you are staying in the area longer, you might consider joining. with the heat of summer setting in...
On 2499, there is WinKids. expensive for classes, but on mondays they have open gym. although it is $10, it is pretty awesome if you want your toddler to get a good workout. they take great naps afterwards!
waterplay-the waterpark by the city of lewisville in EAST lewisivlle is awesome. it is smaller than the one by the high school, less crowded. Superior for tots under age 3.
The kroger at 3040 and Morriss / Gerault has a splash pad / water fountain out front. a fave of local moms. grab starbucks and walk over to play. after about 4:00, it is mostly shaded too. Central Park in lewisville is great for that age. the 6 month old can swing while the older tot plays very nearby.
the roller skating rink in lewisville has a wednesday program for strollers and tots. i haven't been, but it sounds neat!
have fun.
